    The WB100 will drive 100W at whatever impedance you select on the back. Valve amps always output max power so long as the impedance is matched. Which cab are you using?

    It was designed by Rob Green at Status “on the back of a fag packet” with someone or other from Trace Elliot - possibly Mark Gooday of course. The Lodestone version isn’t as pretty for sure, I suspect they had to tweak it enough to make it not a complete clone of the T-Bass/Status version.

    I’d like a short scale PJ ideally but I suspect Mark won’t go for that too! The shorty J is certainly of interest

    LaBella do some lovely rounds which work beautifully on a P bass IMO. Newtone worth a look too

    Bonkers price for a really very good cab. I use these in my local rehearsal studio. Maybe they should buy it as a spare. Or to make an 8x10 rig 😃

    I do indeed never learn! It’s be boring if I did 🤣 The tune select is for power amp valve biaising like on the CTM100/300 models

    I suspect it’s the exact same preamp as the CTM100/300 - the Mellow switch on them is a lovely little thing IMO

    It goes to 13 I think, skips 12 altogether. So, 2 better than Spinal Tap.

    Various Ashdowns - ABM, RM800, Little Bastard, CTM100... To my ears the SC is a relatively uncoloured cab and just puts out a great representation of what goes in. You can get very loud, or crushing lows, and nice mid-bark. Did you go for a silver cloth or black steel grille? My one is silver cloth
