  1. They were one of the original cabs, discontinued in around 2014 I think, occasionally come up on here. Similar in size to the old Trace Elliot 1153 but much lighter and sounded much better too
  2. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  3. Booked in for a visit to Zoot Towers on Friday 2nd December - whoop 😎
  4. 40th birthday party in a horribly echoey golf club function Ron. Good crowd though, was great fun.
  5. Flying to Finland stupid o’clock Monday morning so yet to work out when I can collect but… I would like my business trip to go by quite fast please 😀
  6. This was bloody fantastic. What a great band.
  7. Oooh now there’s a thought! The first set are stainless Newtones but maybe in the future… 😎
  8. Here’s a non-sunburst and tort bass for your delectation 😎
  9. I failed months back. But I am now in a position of trying to consolidate a few things and not buy anything for 2023. Many people (for example @eude and @Quilly) have laughed at me about this proclamation. It’s probably true, if the Stoneham 100W project happens, but if it doesn’t, I am going to go the whole of 2023 without buying anything. Honest 😀
  10. I’ve not heard from, nor chased, Martin since September so I think other things are taking priority at the moment. Will revisit after Christmas I think

  12. Level 42 on Friday at the IndigO2. Taking MiniMert and MrsMert too, for educational purposes. I know their drum tech (he’s in two of my bands) and he’s very kindly arranged guest passes for us
  13. I don’t think it’s worth the effort of carrying two cabs dude
  14. I’ve gigged mine with a very loud band, it’s an impressive little thing. There’s a thread on the Amplification forum about this and other amps and their in built EQ curves which gives a great insight into why this sounds great and seems very loud
  15. Heading up towards Cheshire tomorrow for a few days if it helps anyone in terms of delivery/trials etc. don’t mind popping this in the car too

  18. Mark King changes his strings from soundcheck to gig!
