The RM800 has power in bucket loads, it's insane. The input stage can be pushed harder than you think (assuming no crazy EQ/sub/comp settings) so I wonder if the 420 just wasn't being driven hard enough at the front end?

And I have the RM800 which is a fabulous amp. The 420 is the same with a less powerful power section but will probably be plenty for pubs

The tweeter is very subtle - stick some music through it though and you'll hear the difference I'm currently talking to Ashdown about a customised version of the RM110, only aesthetic changes but if it all goes to plan will reveal here soon!

Yep, got one of the first ones to come into the UK. Nice little cab for the money IMO. I suspect a pair would make a very good little cost-effective stack. Compared to the more boutique cabs I'm sure it would fall down sonically but for my specific needs it is bang on the money and I'm tempted by a second one...
