1. Might be an idea if you told us what Ohms' the're rated at and what watts they are shifting?
 2. WELL.........Wot a great bunch of Mates we've got on here! Plenty of info. and bass players ready to let me try-out there gear. Would love to take you\up on that Moos3h but afraid i'm a little too far away. I used to have an Ampeg 8x10 with a Trace Elliot AH 250 going through it. All 10's, and yes, loads bof bottom in that set-up. Thought about a 15" cab - firstly for the bottom end bit and secondly to get the rig to 3/4 size. The combo, as it is now, sat on the floor throws all the sound thru my legs, and sat on a stand, looses the bass chamber effect of a stage or floor. So if a 2x10 could be OK, would a 4x10 do the same thing,- and that would get it to the height I would be looking for? If this sounds good, which should I go for - the Peavey 4x10 or the Marshall MBC 4x10 cab? These two are the only ones that seem to be in my second hand price range.
 3. I have a Marshall MB 4210 combo which I rate really highly, but I want to add a little bottom end in the respect of a 15" cab and to get it up to the 450 watts that it can deliver. Having said that, how would I control the amount of volume from each cab. Could a volume pot be inserted somewhere to either bring the bottom cab up or down in output? ( the things you think about in antisipation!) Pete
 4. You'll love this "Little" combo Stephen - don't know why everyone moans about the weight! I used to cart around a Trace Elliot AH 250 head and an Ampeg 8x10 a few years ago - when I was a little younger and much fitter. Moved over to this Marshall MB 4210 about 3 years ago to save 'The Back'. Not got the bollocks of the TE etc; but very versatile and loud and loads of different sound combinations. You will have to play around to find your own sound, and this can't be done in a couple of minutes. Take your time and it will come. I do think it needs the help of a 15" underneath when played out. Not only for volume but for that little more bottom end which I think it lacks.. Another good thing about the combo is that you only have to take the single unit to practice - no carting about huge amps and cabs. I can throw this beauty about no trouble (put wheels on the bottom - that helps; and a small sack truck) Come back after a while, and tell us all how you got on. ENJOY!

 8.
Hi Tom Its maybe because its collection only, for example I live 2 1/2 hours away if I valued my time at £25 p/h thats a 5 hour round trip £125+ £40 fuel + £90 for the cab its a £255 cab, postage is a doddle and would be under a £10 and it opens up loads of potential buyers, hope that different angle helps.
Yeh! Your Right. Get the bidder to organise his/her OWN courier and pay for it themselves.I'm sure you would have some takers then.

 12.
Hello! I've got for sale or trade my Peavey Amp and Cab Peavey Mark VI Bass, heavy like a tank, vintage american amp. 400W-2ohms, 250W-4ohms. Built-in compressor propably doesn't work, but i dont know, green led light just doesn't illuminated when it should, anyway i bought it in this condition and amp does the job, sounds great and loud. I bought it on basschat from Physocandy few months ago and paid 120 pounds so i'm looking for the same price because amp is in the same condition. PRICE DROP - 90 pounds for the amp! Peavey 210-TX cab, USA made, 350W continuous/175W RMS - 60 pounds or 150 for both. I'll consider all trade offers but preffered heads. I'm based in North London.
HI............Would the cab be 8 or 4 Ohm?

 14.
You use a line-out from a CD player to drive the unit? If so, just use a line-out from your mixer.
Hi cheddatom........ Will give that a try at next practice. Many thanks for your quick response.
 15. Gigging again, and want to use a 3 channel sound to light unit for the band. Used to just plug it in to a spare out-put on the front speakers, but we now have some Peavey tops and subs. Pluging the wire into the rear of the top speakers (15" with horn) sometimes gets the bass to respond, but not the middle or high frequency channels. Could this be because of the cross-over system in the set-up, or just not getting the suitable frequencies required? If so is there possibly an out-put on the mixing desk that could be used? If a CD is plugged direct into the sound/light unit, all 3 channels work fine.
 16.
According to the weight, between £40 and £50 via Parcelforce. BUT, I know my post office doesn't accept items that big, so I wouldn't be able to send it from here. The only hope would be for you to arrange it and get it collected.
I have got the dimentions off previous Q/A, but could you give me an idea of the weight? Will get intouch with local courier>
 17. Do you know how much it would be to courier the 15" cab?
 18.
Yep - a couple of miles south of Northampton, Northamptonshire :-)
Ah - Shoot! Thats a Bridge (or two) Too Far, I think. Around 300 miles round trip. I read it as North Hants. DOH!! Wonder how much a courier would cost?
 19. Hi........So this 15" cab is still hanging around? Where abouts in North Hants are you?
