1. Hi All, I have a Japanese non-export Precision in 3 tone sunburst up for trade/sale... Now traded - thanks for your interest.
 2.
I know!
I'm still interested, but need to move my Precision on first...
 3.
As I've decided to try and find another precision, I'm letting my jazz go... Tradewise, I'm looking for a Precision that plays and sounds as good as this. I'm based in Leeds, but I'm in Loughborough most weekends.
That is one cracking looking Jazz. Dear me, I keep away from this forum for ages quite happy with my lot and then have an instant GAS attack the moment I log on again! Would you be interested in a 62RI 3TS non-export Japanese Precision (the PB62-US model with Alder body, US pickups, spiral bridge)? If so, drop me a PM and I can send pictures, serial number, weight and/or anything else you might need. I'm planning a trip up to see relatives in Nottingham, so might be able to arrange a meet-up. If not, best of luck and have a bump on me
 4.
Yes it's market research in its earliest form. Hope you friendly hard gigging lot don't mind!
I use two cabs, but angle one up with a Markbass wedge - does that count?
 5.
Hi Jon Thanks....Ive used some of these before and their is a market right near me that uses these boxes. Ill go and ask them on the way home. Both basses are hardcased so its going to take a fair bit of work, but worth it. Cheers
Some great ideas and all music to my ears - been struggling with this to complete a sale to a (very patient!) fellow basschatter. I'm off down the local Lidl/Halfords asap!
 6.
HI I met you at the wedding gig last night in Sidcup. I bored you with Musicman SR5 and G&L bargain repair jobs! You sounded great through the GB shuttle and Aguilar gear. FNM and Mettalica covers ? Whatever next ha ha! BUMP for the gorgeous bit of German......... CRAIG
Hi Craig, Thanks, mate - nice to meet you! You've picked up some cracking bargains in the past by all accounts - let me know when you're gigging next and I'll try to get along. Courthouse in Dartford on the 22nd Oct is the next local one for us, I think.
 7. A couple of interested parties but nothing definite yet. BUMP!
 8.
Still up for sale Bump!
Darn - I'd buy that in a heartbeat if I could get the Corvette sold: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=100079
 9.
Great Bass, very good condition by the look of it and a great price. I would bite your hand off if I didn't already own a Corvette Proline
Cheers mate - I'm sure it'll sell at some point - I'm in no real rush. Bump!
 10.
Have a bump for a growling bargain!
Very kind of you, mate! Bump - you know you want to!
 11.
Someone please buy this! I look at it daily hoping it's turned into a lefty!
Sorry mate, can't help there, my woodworking skills just ain't up to it
 12.
Luuurvly, if I had a spare 400 quid, I'd have it.
Cheers, Rayman. Aw come on, no love? Bump!
 13. Bump for a nice bass - looks like it would be super versatile sounds-wise.
 14.
Basically I have a brilliant P bass. I love the passive tone, the way it sits in the mix and the thudy-ness But I also love the tone with the bridge pick up on the warwick, that thinner and sharper sound that cuts through a bit better.
Here's a great solution. Take a look at this: Warwick Corvette FS/FT You already like the sound of Warwicks and this goes passive if you pull the volume knob (ooo-err) Build quality is arguably better than a Fender (dons flame-proof overcoat) Obviously I have no interest whatsoever in the sale
 15.
This is sorta off topic but not.... for me it's bass related! I'm teaching myself bass, in a fashion, by using some great lessons and help available from this excellent site and others but recently I'm having problems downloading stuff, seems to take ages, youtube is also real slow which is pain too and when I tried to have a look at the Incognito thread the Beeb' thru me out as I'm so slow I did some speed tests using BBC and a consumer site test and got around 490 Kbps download and 368 Kbps upload...I'm on BT internet homehub can anyone comment?
The BT Home Hub is notorious for it's lack of performance. Just Google 'BT Home Hub issue' That would be my starting point.
 16.
Very nice. I'd be interested if I wasn't looking for something lighter. Have a return bump. Cheers
No worries, mate. It's ash bodied, and the specs says it weighs in at 3.5kg (that's 7lb 11oz in old money). Best of luck with that Aerodyne! Bump to the top! Roll up! Roll up!
 17. Hmm - don't suppose you're interested in a trade? Warwick Corvette FS/FT Anyhow, bump for a beautiful-looking bass.
 18. Hi All, I have for sale or trade my German-made Warwick Corvette Standard in Ocean Blue. This is a great passive/9V active four string. As you can see from the swing tag, this is a 2003 model. It was bought by me new from the Gallery in Camden. Condition: This bass has been well looked after and has no major dings. It's free from buckle rash. On the pictures below you can see a slight mark at the top of the headstock and the bottom of the body near the battery compartment, but you'll have to look hard! There is also some wear on the neck pickup cover due to my no doubt over-exuberant slap technique. Reason for Sale/Trade: This has been gigged a few times but is getting no use now as I play a Stingray 5 string and Jazz 4 string in band I currently play in, so it's excess to requirements. Modifications: The bass has two modifications - the addition of Dunlop Straplocks and a genuine Hipshot Extender on the E string. I have the original Warwick Tuner, which is included. Strings/Setup: It's currently set up with a pretty low action and Warwick Black Label Light Guage strings in new condition, as it was my go-to slap machine(!) This bass is very easy to adjust, given that you can tweak the bridge for overall height and string spacing and you can also adjust the nut for height. Accessories: A Warwick Gig Bag is included Specs: Year: 2003 (Made in Germany) Body: Swamp Ash Neck: Ovangkol Neck Join: Bolt-on Fretboard: Wenge Colour: Ocean Blue Pickups: J/J Passive Electronics: MEC 2-Way Active (9v) Controls: Volume (Push/Pull Active/Passive), Pickup Blend, Bass, Treble Strings: Warwick Black Label Light 35/55/75/95 Modifications: Dunlop Straploks, Hipshot Extender Acessories: Warwick Gig Bag Selling Price: Taking into account some feedback I got here on Basschat earlier in the year, I'm looking for £400. This is a great bass with plenty of tonal flexibility and is rock-solid in construction. Trades: I'm very keen to add a Precision to my collection, so let me know what you have Postage: I haven't researched postage yet and to be honest I'd prefer if this was picked up, but I'm sure we can come to an agreement on cost and courier if you're interested. I can also travel a reasonable distance to meet. Pics: See below. Please PM if you need any more pics or have any questions at all. Feedback: Please see my feedback at http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=79123 Thanks for looking folks! 19.
I run a mini 12" stack, ie 2x1x12 cabs and it will work in marquees, for sure. Nice and compact to carry which is not a problem carrying 3 items to and from the car.
Yup, same here. Shuttle 6.0 and two Aguilar 1x12s, one with a tweeter - 600Watts into 4 ohms and no back strain!
 20. I just received a Digitech Jam Man from Bob - perfect condition, great communication all the way along and a pleasure to deal with. Buy with confidence! Thanks, Bob!
