The bassist was possibly the most enthusiastic person at the whole event. I agree that Cat Burns was the highlight, but we lasted until about 12.04 before sacking it off and going to bed.

Yep, playing at the Mill Valley Brewery Tap in Cleckheaton near Bradford. A 90-minute solid run from 8-9.30 meaning I can be home well in time for midnight dancing and smooches with Mrs Greg!

It was only after watching video back from the gig that I found out I'd learned one song in a key a semitone too high, and apparently nobody (myself included) had noticed for the last six months! Ah well, fortunately it's an easy song to transpose, but I'm still mortified.

In the salubrious surrounds of Birkenshaw Liberal Club. Set 1 wasn't great, but Set 2 was killer. Got to try out my new (to me) Barefaced Two10S and it's looooovely.

I was very impressed with the one I tried out a few years ago, although I'm not the biggest fan of the Greasbucket circuit albeit I haven't tried it in a mix. GLWTS! -
That site suggests that it includes accessories as well as instruments, so you should be OK. My gripe is I can't get the chat bot to work 😢

My Barefaced 2x10 is currently being used as a surface to store Christmas decorations, while my Ashdown 4x10 is performing a similar role for the eleventy billion Amazon boxes containing as-yet-unwrapped presents we have to sort through.

Interesting. I bought a Squier Jazz direct from Fender in 2019 so tempted to register for this, even if I did get a discount through having a Fender Play subscription at the time. Never mind, just seen this is only for 2013 to 2018. Oh, but I did buy a Fender acoustic guitar in 2018. Game on!

Oooh, might be very tempted in this after Christmas (I have one on my Chrimbo wishlist so still hopeful someone might buy me one 😁) but what would be the price collected? I'm not too far away from Leeds and work in Leeds city centre two days a week. -
Depends on what I'm playing. Usually I won't rest on anything if I'm playing the E string, I'll rest on the E when playing the A, and then if I'm just having a foray into D and G territory I'll leave my thumb on E but sometimes I'll rest on A to make sure E and A are muted.

Again, I have no issue with people asking before bidding, it's the people who ask after they've won the auction that irk me.

See, that I don't mind. It's people who bid and win before asking, and who withdraw their winning bid when I say no, who grind my gears.
