3.
Oh i don't know. In this thread i'm the next man and i've got quite a potty mouth...
How rude!!
4. I bought my old amp off Liam in a reverse deal.........did I say reverse? Anyway all went well and Liam delivered it to my door and made friends with our neighbours, very friendly is Liam. Thanks, John
5.
I'm embarrassed to say I always forget about leaving feedback. As I've made a few transactions of the last month I must make amends.
I didn't say that I left any either, Im as rude as the next man!
6. I find the lack of feedback after a transaction a little rude, but it's not a biggie, won't stop me buying from the same person if the sale went through ok. As for general posting, I don't usually bother as there are enough opinions and enough advice on here already without any added drivel. I also noticed that some members seem to suffer from posting fatigue and lay off for a while. Well that's my quota for the month.
7. Bought on here a few weeks ago, fitted and tested. Taken back out due to selling the bass it was fitted to, with original controls. Very easy fitting, no soldering of pickups into the unit. Comes fitted to jazz bass plate. Pics up later. £40 posted. Sold.

10. Ebay 99p start price type bump http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...IT#ht_500wt_949
11. Another painless transaction from a sleep deprived Beedster. Nice PJ set from Chris. Cheers, John
12. It must have been a sh*te (or very long) solo for everyone to cheer when the bass disintegrated....there's an almost tangible sense of relief......the drummer looks ecstatic and stands up to applaud, the singer holds the bass body up in victory "behold the end of this noodling nonsense" they cry!

14.
Sold, back to it's previous owner. Cheers Jon. B
The prodigal returns, come to daddy.
15. Local councils make up their own laws/rules as they go along. I've seen buskers in south somerset playing electric guitars through amps. The only way of getting your own way with these people is to go to the committee meetings with one trouser leg rolled up and give the chairman a "special" handshake.

17.
AAAA NO WAY would you be intrested in this marshall MBC 2X15 cabs i find them light to pick up >.< tell what you think as soon as posable ^^
Sorry rafael, really after 12's, but thanks for the offer though. J
18. Ampeg SVT 808HE Classic cab 600 watts 4 ohm cab. Lovely big beastie 8x8 Ampeg cab. Cones in good shape, no tears. The most "rock'n'roll" cab I've owned, but at my age I [s]shouldn't[/s] can't be shifting big heavy cabs around, so am looking at a trade for a lighter weight cab, or cabs. Might be tempted by a bass, try me but nothing with pointy angled headstocks please. But if someone has a mini 48/115 pair, I could be very interested. I can deliver, meet up as far as Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Southampton, Bristol, Exeter. Dimensions H: 37" W: 24" D: 19" Weight: Heavy! Has the statutory bar, wheels and rubber stoppers. Some small Tolex tears, but otherwise clean.
19. Innovation have chosen a good man in Daf, look forward to seeing how things develop. John
20. That sucks Nige. I've been using black beauties for a while since changing from fat beams, never had a bad set. I get mine from Paul comford, uk eBay seller. Probably makes no difference where you get them from, I've either been lucky, or have very knackered ears. But, as someone said, uk dealer could mean better communications? My own experience of elixirs has been poor (bass and 6 string acoustic). New strings braking in sound checks and "dulling" very quickly. Could have had a bad couple of sets. John
21. There's a jam night that is organised by a local guy in Blandford Dorset. He gets in some pretty decent players who come from Poole, West Bay and more locally. There was an excellent fiddle player and drummer last night and the blokey who plays guitar and sings. The music is varied, from Jazz standards, to rockabilly, skiffle, country, Celtic & old pop standards. I think he's trying to get a variety of different instruments each time, with a core of drums/bass and him. I can't commit to it as I've got enough on my plate as it is. If you want to know more, PM me. Thanks John
22.
From memory.....30-32 inches high....19-21 inches wide.....'bout 16 inches deep, and quite heavy ! Will measure it tomorrow, when I'm at work. BTW I keep it at work, which is in Ferring, just this side of Worthing.
Thanks for the measurements Mike. But I think I'm out. best wishes with the sale.
23. Markbass CMD12P combo, with yellow piped roksolid cover. Has an LMII amp in. 300 watts, as is at 8 ohm, or full 500 with additional 8ohm cab. I have used this exclusively with my double bass, since receiving this from a BC er who is also a DB player. It's in excellent condition and has not been pushed. Selling only because I'm going down the separate amp/cab route, utilising my Epifani 112 cab for DB and a recently purchased Ampeg 8x8 for more "lively" gigs shall we say. Please note, this won't be available until end of the month. Welcome to come and try, I'm in Dorset. It will be posted via mates music shop courier if postage is required.
24. Bought a very nice P bass special off rob, very well packed and good comms throughout. Cheers, John Ps thanks too to Oli for sorting out postage.
