I think you missed the point entirely, I was asking you to try it to see if it was the same, not stop using what you do now and swap over. If you don't want to help us to help you, then we are stuck aren't we ?
Wow. good luck fixing it.
Can you try another browser ? Without establishing if affects all we can't try and resolve it.
As far as I am concerned, better the devil you know, I don't have any other browsers and I am not about to downlad, Chrome, Safari, or others because the way I see it if I.E. works with all the other forums and website I use, why should I try something else I am not familiar with? The problem is here in-house within the new forum software.
No I am not using multiple browser and toggling the edit box has helped some, I guess. but no cigar yet.
and posting that from pressing enter to view it on screen took 13 seconds

Even opening or replying to a thread is tediously slow, at the end of the day, I know I am only one person to feel this frustrated, but if this is causing me not to bother, switch off and watch something else, waiting for a day when it's up to speed again, then I guess it should be cause for concern if more people reacts like me. I press enter and ..... here goes nothing!
Must be your PC ! Mine is far from being zippy (it's 5 years old) but there is no typing latency, at all.
Yes it's got be my PC, right? Perhaps it's because it's too new and too fast for this? And I am also on a Virgin optic 50Meg broadband, honestly guv every other site and fori I visit is flying, I have no idea why BC runs slow on my pc

South East Bass Bash No.5, Surrey, Saturday 24th September 2011
Grand Wazoo replied to silverfoxnik's topic in Events
I did win a raffle prize but I picked nothing up form the table, as I've preferred to leave them for the others, but I've got this as a reminder of the day! -
Ped! I thought you said this is now running on a new server, and that now things would be fast as a fast thing on speed, but... it's still slow here, there's typing latency and everything. ???

Just got home myself after a stop in Richmond to visit my son. A great fun day, lots of nice basses and rigs on display, I particularly liked those Mark King ones with the xmas lights on the fretboard in the far right corner Nice to meet some of the fellow addicts, Siddx, Hamster, Ped, OBBM, Bassmanandy, bassface and the others. But... what happened to the no - slap zone prohibition, huh? tut tut! It got so bad at the end, that ... I couldn't get my gear back in the car fast enough... Nevertheless, cool day. -
Ha ha! Maybe I should've said "love your style"! I know you're not getting the other bus into town, and I'm happily married so it's all okay! Seriously, should be a lovely instrument, although the waiting time seems to have gone up a bit! I think it was 10 - 12 weeks when I enquired a few months ago, although to be fair the aging probably adds a bit. Have you stuck with Delano pickups or gone for Haussel? Any other specs or are you not willing to divulge? I look forward to seeing the pics and review!
No I have stucked with the Delano because I was impressed by them. There are no other specs except the fact I forgot to say is that the colour will be sunburst on maple, just what the doctor ordered. I was thorn between Fiesta Red and Seafoam Green but then I thought... nothing better looks proper aged than sunburst. -
Steady on dude, I know I've recently lost my gf, but that doesn't mean I am going to bat for the opposite team now... I consider myself retired now. haha -

I sold my Squier Fiesta Red (Fully loaded) to John and it was a real pleasure dealing with him, we had a quick turnaround with this bass, posted on Sat 17th from Greenwich to Greece and arrived today 22nd considering Sat/Sun this took a total of 4 working days, not bad! Fran
Fran is a god, the god of patience and helpfulness and basses. I bought a heavily modified P-bass in a feisty Fiesta red color and it was more than I could hope for. Communication was excellent, the packaging was a real hell (for me to unwrap it) and strong as a tank. Thank you very much for everything. John
It was a real pleasure dealing with you, we had a quick turnaround with this bass, posted on Sat 17th from Greenwich to Greece and arrived today 22nd considering Sat/Sun this took a total of 4 working days, not bad!
