  1. Hehe, it's 5.3kg on my bathroom scale. Feels heavy in the hand, but not that heavy on a strap. I wouldnt recommend getting hit in the head with it tho..😂
  2. Heya. Adjusting my collection a bit, and considering parting with this Gibson RD Krist Novoselic Signature. It's in pretty good condition, but as it's nitro, there are some marks of use. I'll take some close up photos for anyone thats legitimately interested. Overall a 7/10. Neck straight and good, adjustment both ways. Electronics tip top. Everything 100% original, and OHSC included. The bass is currently in Norway, but I travel alot, and visit the UK often. Next trip will be in late June. I can also ship, well packaged.
  3. Recently tried for this same thing. Only solution I found was either getting a warmoth, or going off brand. Ended up buying a harley benton 51ish P, then buying a lefty HB jazz, and using that neck (which was supposed to be compatible, but wasnt). All I had to do was plug the holes and redrill em, on the neck. But still. Atleast now I've got a 51iah P with a reverse jazz neck with a tele head. (Jugsaw to the headstock)
  4. Still available! I'm open to undercutting the prices on reverb slightly. I'll be in Wiltshire for a week in late June, and I could travel an hour or so away from there.
  5. mhm mhm, but like, what kind of weights?:p And how/where did you place em? Im almost imagining just a dumbell disc attached with ducttape at this point 😂
  6. I woundlt mind having that tbh, is it still up for grabs?
  7. not real. but looks like a great fake. might have an awesome sound. TBH I initially thought real but the inlays are off
  8. Hello. Selling this beauty. I'm travelling in the UK this febuary, so could meet a potential buyer. Nitro finish, big powerful humbuckers. Great sound. The finish is really nice thin nitro, and in great condition. Spent its whole life in a studio. OHSC included I'll be on London and WILTSHIRE mid-late June.
  9. These are BEASTS. I've got one myself, the double humbuckers give a nice deep growl. Sorry for clogging up your sales thread, but could you tell me about the strap and weights? Maybe post a picture? I'd love to completely get rid of the dive on mine
  10. Nice! That pawn shop (left one) goes for a pretty wild price btw.

  12. Price; 3000 GBP Hello! Considering parting with a pretty unique bass, as expenses have been piling up. For your consideration; A Rickenbacker 4003AC, slightly "modified", if you can call it that. 1 of only 420 made. I've used self adhesive vinyl to turn the inlays and pickguard black. This can easily be removed, without leaving any residue. It's basically the same thing inlay stickers are made of. Highly durable. I've also added 2 treble bezels, and a black TRC. All original parts included. The bass itself is immaculate. I've only used it in studio, and it has never left my home. It's spent 99% of it's life in it's case, surrounded by good friends (other basses), in a humidity and temperature-controlled room. All case candy, original parts, and hardshell case are included. I'll also include a roll of the vinyl, so it can be re-done if you take it off. I'll be visiting the UK again soon, and I could bring it along for a potential buyer if there's serious interest. February - Edinburgh and london More information is just a quick google search away, and any questions, feel free to ask.
  13. Let me know what happens with that pending status pls

  15. Considering parting with this for the right price. 100% original, near perfect condition. A tiny crack has been repaired in the freatboard (12th fret IIRC). Barely visible, can be made 100% invisible with a slight sanding. Aluminium parts have been coated with ceramic paint. Serial puts it at late 74/early 75. Feel free to PM for more photos or with questions. I don't come on here often enough, but I'll get email alerts from PMs. I'll be visiting the UK again soon, and I could bring it along for a potential buyer if there's serious interest. IN JUNE ILL BE IN WILTSHIRE and possibly elsewhere, let me know
  16. Some crazy person selling one here too now, wont give you any indication of how much they want for it, and refusing to answer any questions about it. The ad literally says "you should know the value and I won't respond if you dont" I was very interested, but I just stay away from sellers like that tbh. They're bound to be a PITA if there's the slightest problem...

  18. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally surprised this hasnt sold. Is this the only place you have it listed?
  19. Oh wow! Gorgeous! Looking at the size, it's a 3/4? Did they make them for the younglings, or are they marketed more as a traveler/compact/shorty?
  20. I was about to comment something about the thumb rest being so close it functions as a mute:p But I wont Gorgeous build!
  21. I've got one of these. It's my go-to around the house and for rehearsals. Extremely versatile and fun to play imo. I paid more than twice this for mine, and I thought it was a steal:D
  22. Yeha I thought about the set neck part too, but upon some googling I saw some identical ones. What really stunted me was seeing this on one of them.. (also a "1974 4001s" on reverb. Identical apart from open tuners and finish.)
