You need to boost the eq imo, treble nearly full, bass slightly rolled off full, volume quarter and gain just off quarter gives a lovely grit tube sound. Not too great at the highest gain settings... But everything else is fab. You certainly will not find better for 30 quid! Bargain

Absolute beast of a head I bought for a stoner/doom band project that now seems to have pitted out sadly. So it's just sat there looking at me with sad eyes. I've had a fair few valve heads over the years (ampeg, superbassman, orange, trace v4)..... And (not just saying this as I'm getting rid of it)..... The laney has definitely been my favourite sounding for me. Lighter and easier to move than a svt 😉 Super versitile, can do modern clean or lovely old school crunch with oodlesoof punch, lots of eq options that are super easy to use.the drive sound you can get with this is phenomenal! really don't know why these haven't gained more popularity tbh? Brand maybe? UK handmade with premium components, built like a tank, you can feel the quality with it. Pure valve cream Ideally I'd like to trade it for a good condition peavey T40, ibanez musician mc2924 or a nice maple necked p bass (jap/USA), stingray, ibanez atk 800e....or something of the sort? 0... Maybe something with Ash body? W. H. Y? Or a sale...... Black, natural or sunburst only please The only amps I might be interested in would be a mesa m6/m9, GK fusion 550, Ampeg 4pro Happy to meet half way etc, collection/trial here is cool.... Also happy to ship if the buyer sorts out own courier at their own risk(I'd do I detailed video to show all is working fine prior to posting) I'll get some proper photos up tomorrow.... Xotic bb bought from here, good over drive just not needed now £30 posted T rex bass juice. this pedal is a absolute stonker of a drive, I thought it was just a "alright kinda drive"at home... until I heard it with the band then it spoke🙂 .. . Its like a nice bassey tube screamer mixed with a green Russian muff, it can do subtle crunch but really excelles at heavy! It has a clean knob.... But it don't need it much imo, cuts in the mix very well. it's like new. £55 posted I'm after a vapour trail or carbon copy if anyone wants to trade for both or part?
