Just after any advice really. I've been in bands all my life but always original material so the covers scene is new to me. Obviously we're talking longer sets and venues that aren't designed for bands. Am I going to struggle playing for 2 hours with a heavy old T-40? Is my 8x10 going to be too big/much?

I'd buy one of these in a second if it had a P width neck.

I love the colour, just looks..... Cheap somehow. Reminds me of the Joe Satriani guitar.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I'll stick with my 8x10 until I find something that sounds better, I'm not holding my breath though. Unless I find myself struggling to get it in and out of venues (new band will probably play pubs more than clubs). Then I might go barefaced.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that's on fugly bass.

[/quote] I have seen a white blade with a rosewood neck, and I know of a tan burst and a natural with rosewood necks but never any other colours. The rosewood was only in production for one year (I think). That's going to be a difficult spec to find. The blade is the way to go though. Good luck with your search!

I currently an orange AD200 through an 8x10 And have done for some years. However in my new band I have more sonic spectrum to fill (only one guitarist who sounds nothing like my old guitarists). Would a 2x15 beef my sound up?

It sounds sweet doesn't it? I'm more interested in build quality and ergonomics though.

Anyone have any experience with this bass? I've always fancied a destroyer bass and there's one on eBay at the moment. Also on the off chance any one have an 80s one they don't want any more?
