  1. Evening all. Any recommendations for purchases please? TA!
  2. Spot on. leave it alone. looks mint
  3. Thanks for the input. I’ll take a look at your products. The part I think I’m overthinking is the relationship between the choice of pickup and the impact the cap will have on the tonal range. So if I buy for example some Delano PMVC 4 AL H. Pups. What cap& pots etc will give me the best pairing. I guess I’m overthinking it. I usually do.
  4. Evening chaps. Have any of you had any dealings with this outfit? I like the look of this loom. Its for a P bass hence so 250K is ideal. Like the idea of Audio Taper Pots. Can any one vouch for the Sprague " Orange drop" CAP? thoughts please Incorporates: Matched* CTS USA Custom Audio Taper 250K Split Shaft Volume & Tone Potentiometers - smooth linear volume and tone change (no bunching or on/off effect) 0.022uF Sprague "Orange Drop" Tone Capacitor** - removes the thinness and harshness inherent with budget capacitors Quality Jack Socket Bridge earth wire supplied with heatshrink tube to twist join with exiting earth, solder and insulate
  5. After many years of debate, (with my inner voice). Ive think I've decided? Great Disco/Funk intros where the bass just drops in and all is well in the world. This is very Herbie H inspired? Whats your contenders?

  10. Ok .I took the output from my Mac into the Aux and used my headphones. it rumbles perfectly well and you can adjust the sensation and intensity of the rumble. So in answer yes it works.
  11. I have no glue on either account. All I can offer is this clip?

  17. Hey all. Hope you're well? I never get tired of hearing this arrangement and how it resolves. Please bring you best resolutions to the yard! For me it starts at 3.04 resolves around 4.07
  18. Evening all. Hope you're good? Im using a Persons 16.0.02 desk. I have 4 Aux sends to monitors either in-ear or wedge. Is there a way of enabling each band member to control their own mix? At present they shout instructions whilst I'm playing for maybe the first couple of songs. My multi tasking as front of house engineer, monitoring engineer, bass player and shared singing duties is getting silly. Please tell me there is a really simple piece of outboard or software based kit I can get to just send the awkward bas88rds the signal, so they can create their own levels. We very rarely get time to try things out pre-gig. And the rest of the band have little interest in rehearsing to resolve this issue. I hate hit and miss stuff and I don't think they consider the extra hassle it causes for me. Thanks in advance
  19. I went to see the late great Charles Bradley at the Hare & Hounds in Kingsheath in Birmingham. He was amazing for the 40 odd minutes he was in stage.
