Used the platform for the first time in anger tonight. No backline just a wedge monitor. Got lots of comments from punters and people literally coming up and putting their foot on it! Was a great sensation with the added bonus of the kick and snare going through it so locked in really tight

Just downloaded this free amp modelling standalone or plugin. Its very guitar oriented at the moment (as usual) but I hope some more bass stuff gets added. To be honest I've found it a bit confusing but have managed to load a few things. Its quite new so feels a bit developer/geeky to a sad old fart like me. As BigRed says, T shirts are where the money is at. We sold a hundred odd cds at gigs and online, but T shirts seem to sell better and at £15 a pop (think they cost £4 each (?). Oh and a card reader has really made a difference, hardly anyone has £15 spare in cash at the end of the night, but everyone has a phone or a card.

I can't help because I've never been that lucky enough to have that problem, but good luck with the US tour, I bet it'll be amazing.

That stinks. Is one of the people getting more dosh supplying something like the PA or backline? The only reason why I could imagine someone getting a little more would be for supplying extra kit or petrol money, perhaps. We split all our gig money equally despite me and the drummer owning and paying for the PA. The guitarist changes his strings every gig so thats an expense for him. I have on occasion taken an extra fiver for me and the drummer for petrol if we've driven the others a fair old distance but thats about it. I'd certainly be asking questions as to why the Jam night guys are pocketing an extra £25 each night, that seems well excessive.

I have an old banger 05 plate berlingo. I took out the back seats. I can fit 4 x 15" powered RCF Tops 2 x 15" powered H/H subs 1 x 410 Ampeg HLF Cab 1 x Ampeg SVT Head 2 x large boxes of leads 1 x Large Box of Lights 1 x bass hard case 1 x pedal case/board 3 x mic stands 4 x speaker stands or all the above less the 410 and the SVT head and instead a Markbass combo, orange 410 and Marshall Tube head, 1 bass and 2 guitars and 2 effects cases. Its amazing what you can squeeze in if you don't care about the interior getting trashed! Starting to feel like the Yorkshireman sketch...

I have the digbeth too, very happy with it. I've paired mine up with a Cali double stack compressor clone. yet to use it on a gig so we shall see how it sounds...

To be honest its a bit overkill for the Dog n Duck isn't it? But if it's available to use then I'm going to use it!

Not technically amp/speaker related but... He actually went ahead and bought one of these for me to use for as long as I like with an aim to eventually buy it off him if I want to. yes I like it. I'll try to get round to making a short video for youtube as I don't believe any exist for bass. It's quite a bit more involved than my Boss LMB 3, but first very brief impressions are good. It's pretty chunky and solid, heavy as well.

Yes it’s a a bit dodgy for sure . I believe the origins pedals are a interpretation of the 1176 compressor? The blatant logo copy is a bit much I agree. behringer also have some form with copy, don’t think it’s stopped people buying them though
