I did all the recovering and fabric myself. my dad made the cabinet, just from plans off the net except the design of the baffle that I wanted. A mate is a metalworker and he made the new face for the amp and the rear that you cant see here. There is a thread by me on here showing it under construction.

Thanks Guys. I think I'll order up a set of Status 32" because they're cheap and I've never tried them, and fall back on the labellas if they turn out not to my liking.

Hi, I've had one of these on order since September in 3 tone burst and Fender and the shop reckon It's coming next week. I play flats too and I'm interested in the fit of the status strings. Ideally I go for 45-105 and I hate wrapping any part of the "speaking" length of the string round a post. So if these fit bang on I'd probably go for them. Any and all advice gratefully received!

fender koilcords are great, both me and my guitarist have been using them for a year or so - no problems at all and well worth the money.

Thanks very much. it looks ss though Spuder list one that will fit by a small margin. they list it under Dean case. either that or another custom one. I used Gothard ladt time and its ok but id rather have a genuine one. BTW did you buy the gigbag ir is a fender one supplied with the instrument- in case the shop tries to scam me!

Magic. Thanks for sharing that. Apparently mine doesn't get here until 10th dec. In the meantime I'll get a set of those LaBellas. You couldn't give the guitar a quick measure for me at some point could you please? The overall length and widest body should be enough to go along with. It seems Fender aren't going to produce a hard case for it so I want to start the hunt early for a decent one before I take delivery!

Went into Kennys in Glasgow and put money down on a 3 tone Coronado. it will be mine...... oh yes........ Also, visited a few shops and they were the only ones interested in actually getting one and asking me for the business.

I play in a Soul Covers band - Sixties and Northern and a 60s originals band if that makes any sense - its all our own stuff but its very 60s. Always plenty going on!

I'm about to go and put a deposit down on a Coronado reissue. It wont be here for a few weeks - so that'll give me enough time to think up a good story/sell some gear/rob a petrol station/etc.....

Ive got an Ibanez Artcore ASB140 the rarer brother of the ubiquitous AGB140. Its a far better instrument to boot as well as being prettier. I imported it myself and I only know of a couple of others in the UK from people on here. Ive never seen another one.
