  3. Wow. Close and tempting. and I’m skint. FFFFFFFSSS
  4. That entire album (Tragic Kingdom) is majestic. Anything before or after grates on me apart from Hella Good which is just a mad little tune.
  5. First time I played with a drummer was Paul Ryder’s lad Jake. Useless fact of the day. He was a couple of years younger than me but we went to the same school in about 1999/2000
  6. My original gold one, god I miss it. Sold it to @Etienne - I do wonder who has it now, did a lot with that bass and only sold it because of financial woes with my ex. Anyhow, the replacement is a beauty, absolutely a dream. Changed the Bridge because although I never personally had any issues - I repaired a lot of JC bridge mishaps as an epiphone dealer from 2003-2014. I also changed the knobs as the colour seemed to suit the Amber top hats more. And while I’m yet to try in anger, acoustically and on recordings - the Babicz has made a difference.
  7. If I don’t stand still and pay attention, I have to stick my tongue out - otherwise I fall over.
  8. He doesn’t know how to spell my surname either, so we’re even.
  9. @Al Krow is that a Bunny brunnel model?
  10. Ah. in my haste, I missed the detail. £400 and a decent repair/respray.
  11. Nice (cheap) one on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/BassPlayersMarketUK/permalink/4081266975218233/?sale_post_id=4081266975218233
  12. Well...apparently it ended up being sold back to Egypt guitars. so I never got to see it. win some/lose some
  13. Wanna buy a sadowsky
  14. Damn. Hmm. Off to speak to the boss.
  15. I’ve owned 2 Washburn basses. One was my second or third bass, an unremarkable xb-100 which was very light. The second was an SB-40EQ. Now lives at a Washburn Museum in America.
  16. Ah, “country pub” chic...
  17. Love that - like the 4004LK without the horrific bits.
  18. Duncan designed...it was a long time ago, but I remember that
  19. S&M was my limit, although “I disappear” from the MI:2 Soundtrack was ok. I started listening to Metallica when ReLoad came out as I was about 13, I swiftly worked backwards and then they were “my” band. My wedding dance was to the S&M version of Nothing Else Matters. Random fact of the day.
  20. That’s had some life!
  21. There’s one for sale here...or is it gone? Love the Sonus shape, and Cody Wright always makes them sound ace
  22. And this - a 1000MA in tobacco burst over flame maple...never seen one before
