1. I'm doing exactly the same, selling my SP210 in order to get a nice big stack!
2. Logic Express. And either a Focusrite Pro 24 or Pro 40 depending on how many channels you'd like. IMO of course...
3. Still available, I've been on holiday. Hence the delay!
4. I'd recommend a Flip HD model with the upgraded condenser microphones, if you're looking for something simple.
5.
And I still want to know if you bothered muting the strings other than the one you're tuning...
I find that pretty insulting tbh.
6.
Well, Bankai did suggest that the Epiphone he used for the shootout has a lower frequency response than others. So maybe that's why he had trouble tuning the B? Truckstop
Yes, the guitar you're using would inevitably be having some effect. I purposefully chose a 5 string thunderbird as it'd be the hardest bass for a tuner.
7. Have bought an Ampeg SVT450 And soon to buy an Ampeg 610!
8. Ashdown MAG210T sold and Orange Bass Terror sold.
9.
soon to be released Shavo Odadjian model.
[sits up and starts paying attention...]
10. From the money you'd get for selling the AD200, you'd have enough to buy this: http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_amps_de...1072013552688b6 Tastes good...
11. A Jazz can definitely be made to cut through, more so than a Precision I'd say.
12. Thunderbirds usually go for about £700-800 depending on condition. I'd say that you should look around that maybe?
13. In my opinion, buy second hand. But if you want to be buying new, then this is probably the best deal! http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/bass_amps_de...1072013552688b6
14. ON that note, perhaps consider a TC Electronics rig? They're doing buy one get one free on their cabs atm with one of their heads!
15. For that price I think you could find something much better! I'd suggest looking at a second hand 410, 610 or even 810 off of here and then a head to match!
16. I used one of these heads for the first time yesterday. I was very impressed, and then even more impressed when I realised how loud it can go!
17. I've been working with touring bands for a while so have got an idea of what works, and what doesn't. If you're looking at a microphone without a budget, then a Shure KSM9 is very good. If you're looking for a microphone around the same price as an SM58, then I'd instead suggest a Sennheiser e840 or alternatively a Shure Beta 58.
18.
If I'm using a mic on my amp I use a Sennheiser e602.
I echo this thought. But use any microphone in combination with a DI.
19.
It's more like a 'treble sheen' control.
Bi-winni... sorry I mean bi-amping?
20. BASS TERROR SOOOOOOOOOOOLD. SP210 Cab is still here, as are the Ashdown cabs.
21. To put it simply, an American Special is the same as a Mex, just made in a USA factory. On another note, looking at the Standard versus the Deluxe, the Deluxe is only an extra £200 but the extra stuff you get as part of the bass definitely makes it worth it. A Standard is THE Precision, but the Deluxe is that and so much more.
22. To give you an idea on size...
23. So the cabs would cost £180 each now and you can get both for £160. Deal? And the Orange stuff? Only £650 when they'd actually cost about £850/900. Double deal?!
24. Is there any chance you'd be able to do localish delivery? I can't drive sadly but I live in Billingshurst
25. LB is 30.
