1.
Looks like things are moving now. My order has finally arrived in this country and appears to be on it's way up north.
And it's just arrived. Apart from a miniscule "bloom" under the lacquer, I can't see anything wrong with it. For £40 something it's a bargain. Parcelforce seem to have got their act together. Arrived in the country at 11.00pm last night. Left to head north at 1:30 this morning and arrived with me at 11:00am.

Another meet with Martin to drop some Straplocks off. Top Brew, Top Man. Always love chewing the fat with Martin and I wonder what the next deal will be.
4. Replacement arrived today. Panic over.
5. I emailed them last night as mine order has been static for a week. Here is the reply. Dear Customer Thank you for your email. Unfortunately a series of strikes here in Germany by some DHL personnel, coupled with the recent problems affecting cross-channel services has delayed many orders to Ireland and the UK. We have been informed by DHL that the strikes have now ended, so we hope that things will be working again as usual very soon. Please accept our apologies for the delay. Unfortunately, however, such circumstances are beyond our control. Kind regards Thomas Krarup International Sales
6. Warwicks sold. Dunlop's still available.
7. Bugger on 2 counts. I live too far away to collect and having measured the ParBars we have, it's too small. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it made?
8. Well that didn't last long. Eldest son was over from Prague for youngest son's wedding. Spotted the iStomp, though "what a fantastic idea", and it ended up in his case yesterday on the trip back. Never mind another one already ordered.
9. The Fender PT-100 Pedal Tuner has an easy-to-read LED note indicator. Its flat/sharp LEDs makes onstage tuning fast and foolproof. Dual outputs and on/off indicator. Fender quality, Rugged die-cast case and pro-grade accuracy make the PT-100 Pedal Tuner the one for you. Dual outputs: one sends signal constantly, one mutes when you hit the pedal so you can tune silently. As New in original Box.
10. **Sold** Set of Dean Markley SR2000 Strings. 5-String set, 46-125 Stainless. Bought in error as I only use Nickels and didn't discover until they were fitted and took them off straight away. They were fitted on a 3 over 2 Headstock 34" Bass.
11. [s]1 x Set of Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks, Black, New - £10[/s] [s]1 x Set of Warwick Straplocks, Black, New - £10 (pretty much same as Dunlop)[/s] - SOLD Not much more to say. Does what it says on the tin.
12.
you wont regret it, but if you do gear4music are pretty good on refunds
In all honesty for £35, I would keep it just in case. I know I don't need it but there have been occasions where I could have done with a specific effect for a specific number. This will avoid me having a cupboard full of "One Use" pedals.
13. At that price it's worth buying just on the off chance you need an effect one day. So I ordered one :-)
14.
I can see you are new to this long thread. The 5 string acoustic is one of the most common Dekos over the last 6 months. The ding is a 'D' stamp, usually on heel and back of headstock for bolt ons, to show it is a Deko. Just wish they'd find a lot more P/Js
I am indeed late to the game and thanks for clearing that up.
15.
DEKOS 5 string acoustic. http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_b_35nt_acoustic_bass_s_deko.htm
They must have few of these as I snagged one of these on Monday night and they have still been available since then. Interesting to see if the "damage picture" is just a generic one or if they have a few with the same ding.
16.
hell yeah!! All it needs is a setup
Any chance you could weight it? Am interested in how heavy the PJ5's are.
17. The one I bought last night is still featured on the website, so I guess they must have a few. It'll be interesting to see if it has the "dink" featured in the pictures.
18.
Just sprung for the 5 String Koo Stick. Bonus is I managed to order a couple of K&M wall hangers super cheap at the same time.
Stone me. Ordered at 7.30ish last night and already got the dispatched text and email.
19. ACG for me. Got 2 and wouldn't say no to another.
20.
Acoustic 5er is still up there... I'm gutted I missed the fretless 4; I hadn't even considered such a weirdly wonderful thing might exist, and GASed hard when I saw the 'sold out' label... Did anyone on here snag it?
Just sprung for the 5 String Koo Stick. Bonus is I managed to order a couple of K&M wall hangers super cheap at the same time.
21. Awesome performance from Lional Ritchie and I thought the songs worked much better with a small band than the full strings/brass studio versions. Highlight of Glastonbury for me, closely followed by Paloma Faith. Both demonstrated a master class in how to work an audience.
22. Back on track. Great Combo's, but then I am a committed MarkBass fan. Think there is one F/S on here Dean.
23. I had a blueburst single pick-up one. Beautiful slim neck with maple fingerboard, Delano humbucker and 3 band Knoll pre-amp. Lovely bass to play, nice and light and agree that it was quite modern/hifi sounding. Tried a Ken Taylor and it weighed a ton by comparison. Also had a Cort Arona, which is a Sandberg Basic built by Cort. Sandberg worked very closely with Cort on this and it has Delano pick-ups, Sandberg hardware and pre-amp and if you cover the headstock up, no one can tell it isn' t a Sandberg, ( I know as I tried it with Drew from the Great British Bass Lounge. ) Worth a look as they are a lot cheaper.
