1. Zoe, Hats off to you. Incidently there is another thread on here somewhere with the track minus the Bass Line, (if you can't find it I can send it). If you feel like "getting shut of Norman" you can do it. I really do admire your dedication. How many 10 year olds would stick at something like learning an instrument and not jack it in after a while. I am curious. Why did you decide on Bass at such a young age? It took me until I was in my late 50's to decide that I prefer bass rather than guitar, (that I had been playing for years). Whish i had started earlier
2.
PM sent
Nice one Mike. You got one hell of a bass amp there.
3. As the previous owner of this set-up I can vouch for how good it is. The Carlsbro head is one of the last ones made in the UK before they shipped production to China. Absolutely Bomb Proof. The Cab has a Celestion neo in that cost over £100 on it's own. its an Ashdown ABM115 that came direct from the company that makes them for ashdown. Real Ply and no MDF here. This is a stonkin bargain. Good luck with the sale Dale.
4. I have been asked by a friend to see if there is any interest in a Dean Pace Bass. It's brand new and includes a case BUT The tripod stand is missing and there is a small mark on the side of the fingerboard. The Bass was bought just for the stand but a Snare or similar Drum stand can easily be adapted. He wants £150 for it and I can get pics if needed. It's the one below and cheapest seems to be GAK at £399 http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/73187
5. Speak to Andy at Wizard. I did when fitting a Wizard Thumper to a P-Bass. Told him what sound i was looking for and he came up with the right Pot/Cap solution. then make sure you use good quality components, (CTS/Sprague).
6.
This one used to be mine, I had it imported new from Australia - cost an arseing fortune - and Id have it back in a second. Amazing build quality and great blending of vintage and modern appearance. Great price. Bump!
Cheers Richard. You are right it is an absolutely awesome bass and were it not for the incoming ACG it wouldn't be going anywhere. You know what to do when you sell the Moon then.

He used to import Basson gear when he had The Bass Merchant.
8. Cheers Al. Tis indeed a thing of beauty.

11.
Oh my. Whats the string spacing at the bridge?
Tis 3/4" or 19mm in new money.

13. Aw, come on B. sell the Ostinato and do the deal on the Bacchus. You know you want to.....
14. Lithiums every time. Currently using some Power Bugs. Expensive?? Not really as they are the equivalent of at least 5 Alkaline. Last about 5-10 times longer than Alkaline. Wouldn't use re-chargeables as they "die" without notice
15. Alex. Here is the e-mail address for the Aquilar tech support [email protected] Here is the wiring diagram of the OBP-1. It says "Use Original Volume Control", so that will be specified by Spector, I guess. Or try the pick-up manufacturer. if it's EMG, I can probably help.
16. If it's an Aguilar pre-amp, e-mail them and ask the value or e-mail Spector. Spector have a really good Cust Service dept.
17. Steve, Is it the same in Series and Parallel Mode?
18. Sandberg or you could try Sandberg or if all else fails try a Sandberg.
19. Unless you have already bought the bridges, look at Hipshot. They do 4 and 5 string bridges in a number of string widths.
20. Wow that was quick Rich. Just about to offer you a Bacchus and we had a power cut. When the power came back, deal done. Nice one. Just to see what you are missing.
21.
I have those in Fender
Mine are Ben Sherman. And I hope you have the matching strap???
22.
I can only think of one person who should be allowed to own this bass! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IBANEZ-Limited-Editi...93%3A6|294%3A50
You haven't seen my shoes then.... 23. Think this should be marked as Sold. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=52874
24. If that was a 5 String, I would be all over it like a rash. Probably the most underrated Bass on the Market. Cort build Lakland Skylines, G&L Tributes and some Fenders and Ibanez. Stonking value for money and excellent build quality. Good luck with the sale. Someone will be very, very happy if they buy this.
