    I say go for it, but maybe make the focus of this project trying to make the bass look and feel good for as little money as possible. That way you can teach yourself loads about modding and it won't really matter when you screw stuff up. Then, when it's all finished you'll have aquired a load of knowlage and saved some cash to put towards building a better bass.

    Why the hell is this still here? Fotoflme, EMG's, maple neck, this has got to be the bargain of the year. For a hundred sheets, who the hell cares if somebody has put a datestamp in the neck pocket. If I didn't already have a more than enough P's I would be all over this badboy.

    One knob fuzz pedal, bought off here a couple of weeks ago. Nice simple fuzz, but doesn't do anything that my current set up doesn't do. These are handbuilt by a member on here and will run off either battery or psu. £20 posted Behringer BDI 21, had this a while and it's a brilliant little pedal that does a great impression of a Sansamp Bass Driver at a fraction of the price.
