1.
What's the difference between a GS 112 and a DB 112. Would a GS go well together with a DB?
Hi, I've never played through any of the DB range but from what I hear both are voiced quite differently, with the DB range having a more mid presence, vintage vibe while the GS has a more modern full range sound. But like I say, no experience. What I can say is that the GS is a great sounding cab. I'm starting to think I should just pair it up with a second 112 and be sorted!
2. Hi Stuart, would you be willing to ship the 4x10? Barnstaple is a bit far for me too travel I'm afraid. Easy, Jay.
3. Forgot to mention I'm based in North London, so anyone in the area feel free to pop round and have a bash.

5. Hi folks, Selling an Aguilar GS 112 I bought from the Bass Gallery less than year ago. I had originally intended to use it as an extension to my Genz Benz shuttle rig but I'm leaning more toward a full EBS 4x10 for my main rig so this will become surplus very soon. It's in immaculate condition having done just two gigs and spending the rest of it's time in my bedroom. These are really great sounding cabs. Specs can be found here- http://www.aguilaramp.com/products_cabinets_gs112.htm No pics just yet so in the mean time, heres a horrible stock photo- This cost £400 a short while a go so looking for- sold or I can ship for an additional £20. I'm based in North London. Any questions or offers, feel free to ask. Easy, Jay.
6. There would be probably be some cash your way. How much depends on the condition of the Epi and you of course. I've decided to put the Aggie up for sale however as I'm really after an EBS cab. But if no one shows any interest in the Aggie the next few days, then I'd be up for a trade. Shoot me a pm with a cash figure you'd like in the trade anyway. Easy, Jay.
7. I've a new Aggie GS112 to trade if you were interested.
8. Hello folks, Selling my Genz Shuttle combo. It's in perfect condition save for a small cosmetic flaw in the fom of a fleck of paint missing on the top which is barely noticable. It's just under two years old and has had an easy life with home practice exclusively. So it's in perfect working order. It's simply an amazing little amp. I'm selling to fund the purchase of a larger Genz Benz rig. I've tried this amp with a 12" extension and it's pretty loud having enough punch for medium size venues and with generally low volume ensembles. However, I've found it just a tad lacking in the power dept. in the rock band I've now found myself in consisting of two guitarists and one very loud drummer. I'm hoping the 6.0 Shuttle with be enough! Pics in a day or so but in the mean time- Specs can be found here- http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid...=610&cid=95 Bass Direct have these at £670 incl. shipping so I'm offering this at- SOLD AND ON IT'S WAY Excellent review of the Shuttle 6.0. The 3.0 shares the same features save for the separate gain, volume, master volume controls and gives you an overall idea of the tone of these amps. I'm also open to trades for another Genz head ( 6.0 etc.) or maybe a Little Mark III. Easy, Jay.
9.
final call , any takers or offers or even trades before ebay ? - would be interested in a light markbass combo
Would you be interested in a trade for a Genz Benz STL3.0-10T combo by any chance? Just used at home for practice. http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&mid...610&cid=95# Cheers, Jay
10. I've been looking forward to this release for awhile. Fantastic line up too. Anyone not familiar with Janek's work as a leader would do well to check this record out as well as his two previous records. Any chance you'll have a hard copy or two with you on the gig with Husband at the Hideaway on the 1st, Janek? Would love to have something tangible in my hand for the collection for a change. Easy, Jay.

Great for hearing the isolated tracks or playing along without any bass in the mix. Copied and pasted, so sorry about the Spanish in the descriptions but I'm sure you can work out what they say! The sheer joy of playing Jamerson's lines to just the lead vocals is immense. Truly one of the greatest players; both rythm and melody so wonderfully executed. Thank you again. By the way, do you have a link to any more of these multitrack mp3s? Jay.
12. I recently picked this up. I'm a very happy man Jay.
13. Hello folks, I've a mint Octabass that's been pretty much sitting idle since I bought it two months ago. I originally intended to use it on several songs that my band play live. However, all but one of those songs have been dropped from the set and the remaining one works without it. Typical. I should mention that this is the newer version with true bypass. I tried a bunch of octave pedals at the Gallery in London and this was without a doubt the winner. The tracking is really excellent and the octave sound itself is very clean and hi fi. It comes with the original box, manual, receipt, . It being only two months old, it's still under warranty with the Gallery if you find yourself in need of peace of mind. No pics just yet but I decided to advertise it without all the same. It looks surprisingly like this- All the info and soundclips here- http://www.bass.se/ sold Jay.

15. I've bought, sold, and traded with Mick on several occasions and he has always been a gent to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again and hope to in the future. He has fantastic taste when it comes to basses Jay.
16. That is a great looking bass Mick. 'Ave a bump. Jay.
