Hello folks,

Selling my Genz Shuttle combo. It's in perfect condition save for a small cosmetic flaw in the fom of a fleck of paint missing on the top which is barely noticable. It's just under two years old and has had an easy life with home practice exclusively. So it's in perfect working order.

It's simply an amazing little amp. I'm selling to fund the purchase of a larger Genz Benz rig. I've tried this amp with a 12" extension and it's pretty loud having enough punch for medium size venues and with generally low volume ensembles. However, I've found it just a tad lacking in the power dept. in the rock band I've now found myself in consisting of two guitarists and one very loud drummer. I'm hoping the 6.0 Shuttle with be enough!

Pics in a day or so but in the mean time-

Bass Direct have these at £670 incl. shipping so I'm offering this at-

Excellent review of the Shuttle 6.0. The 3.0 shares the same features save for the separate gain, volume, master volume controls and gives you an overall idea of the tone of these amps.

I'm also open to trades for another Genz head ( 6.0 etc.) or maybe a Little Mark III.

Easy,

Jay.

I'm really tempted, though I lack a few more pounds yet..
For something this light and compact, shipping wouldn't be much more to the continent. I could be persuaded to send it on it's way with no extra cost :)

Have a bump for a great set-up. Only wish I'd seen this before I bought mine new a few months back. These truly are remarkable combo's, and the truly excel with upright bass. I've used mine in restaurant jazz gigs, in a theatre pit gig with no line out because it filled the room nicely, and in rehearsals and it's always held it's own.

+1. I love mine, have had it a few months now, gigged in a range of places, and only needed an extension (the 2x10 shuttle cab) when playing and rocking out with a 10-piece wedding band. And it more than held its own.

It's the first bass amp I've bought in 14 years, and I still love the fact that I can carry my entire rig on my own (including extension cab!)

Pm replied to sir.
My lord, is there a version with 8" inch speaker???

Bassman, I suppose you've been offered a new one for that price?
I almost walked away with that instead of the ten inch. It was just plain silly the sound that was coming out of a single 8" speaker! Highly recommended for practice/acoustic gigs though.

The amp is still for sale by the way. Lots of maybes floating about.= which is a good sign.
