1. Lots of interesting trade offers but nothing that quite hits the mark just yet. Keep 'em coming!
 2.
MB1. Thats what you get for Larkin about!.....Sorry i'll get my coat!
It was funny the first time.....and even funnier now
 3. Curses! First the Stauts stealth, now this . You made a wise choice in keeping that beauty, kudos.
 4. *falls off seat* Do not the sell that bass! positively stunning.
 5. That has a understated elegance; Jens is such a great luthier.......and it shows in the price Bellisimo! Bump
 6. The bass weighs in at 3.5kg (under 8 pounds) so shouldered for extended periods is no problem.
 7. I really have my eye on that status stealth so c'mon folks, help a brutha out
 8.
MB1. We'll have no larkin about here then!............. Sorry i'll get my coat!.
Puntastic

 10.
Why don't you share it out amonst all members?that would relieve your gas? What say everyone!!!!
I'm with J on this one. Although with the 2000+ Bass chatters, we'd be lucky to see 50p each
 11. I want this so much. If only I could shift my Larkin I'd have this off ya in jiff. Bump!!
 12. After the recent acquisition of a status four string I've realised, to my great annoyance, that I'm just more comfortable on a 34"scale neck. So my Larkin Sc5 is on the block. Brief run down of the spes:

Maple neck-through with walnut & cherry stringers
Walnut body wings
Indian rosewood fret board
ebony nut
Carbon fibre neck reinforcement
Spalted beech top
Le Fay single coil pups
EBS two band pre with mid selector
Ebony 'ramp' upgrade which can be adjusted to taste
35" scale with 24 frets
Shamrock mop inlay at twelfth fret
This bass is in immaculate condition and plays effortlessly. Recently setup with a fresh set of Status strings & tuned to high C. Can throw on a low B if wanted. This bass can take regular and double ball strings. Chris is a phenominal luthier and construction and attention to detail on this bass is what you'd expect from an elite custom builder; perfect. Check out Chris' website- http://www.chrislarkinguitars.com/home.htm This bass has a very Wal-ish type sound with great low-mid presence. The Le Fay pups are great and the EBS pre is powerful, transparent and above all, musical. Comes with custom fitted hiscox case. Pics! I'm hoping for something in the region of £1125 ( That includes postage, generous I know ) The only small catch is that I live in Ireland. However, I live quite near to the Roslare ferry terminal so any Bass chatters in Wales wouldn't have to travel too far and I will post if you'd prefer. Cheers guys.
 13. Thought I'd post this on the new site. I've just recently had a ramp installed and although I haven't gotten my hands on it yet, Chris has done a very nice job. A brief run down of the specs: Spalted beech top Walnut body wings Maple neck with cherry stringers Rosewood fretboard EBS 2-bd preamp Le Fay single coils Currently strung with a high C which I'm really enjoying at the moment. Heres a link to Chris' website- the 9 string, headless, fanned fret behemoth is definitely worth a look http://www.chrislarkinguitars.com/goibasses.htm
