1. More pedals added, mini-clearout time Si
2. Good price on the Meatbox! Si
3. I'm putting together a GGG green muff at the mo, probably same circuit, so will let you know Si
4. Never had a problem with the finish, because, shock-horror....I bought covers for them. It does amaze me the amount of people who don't cover their cabs during transit (Ant I'm staring at you! ) I do have issues with the feet ripping out, but hey, I've had the same issues with Ampeg, Ashdown etc etc. Matchstick shoved in, re-screw it Si
5. Perhaps make the jump to a US standard. I had a Squier CV Jazz for a while, and while they're great basses for the money, it certainly didn't match up to my US Jazz in tone and feel (although the finish was almost on par). Even the mexican built Road Worn series gets a lot of love Si
6. Will hopefully be along, my other half lives in Hatfield, so no excuse really lol Si
7. Dave is a good friend of mine, and an excellent player. Deal with the upmost confidence! Si
8. Yes Joes have only just taken delivery of the Fuzzrocious, first UK dealer to take the plunge, so definitely deserves kudos, he stocks a lot of interesting boutique pedals from around the world Glad people are getting involved, hopefully this will lead to more Fuzzrocious over here Si
9. Yes everyone go and buy :-D lol. The Rat Tail is such a versatile overdrive/distortion! Si
10. "What is the worst thing about music" Someone else's 'best thing'?! Si
11. I daren't add to this anymore lol Si
12. Do the whole song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DR7PEIGIyY Si
13. Love my TGD, it's like the antidote to a gated fuzz lol. If anyone is interested, you can make this sound like a crying child.......no?......anyone? Good luck Si
14. Excellent pedal, love mine. Can do everything from slow pulses to very hard & choppy Si
15. Yes huge miss for Ashdown here, difficult to know how these got signed off really. They kinda sound ok (on my iPhone?!), but they look ungigable, as mentioned, footswitch too close to knobs, in/out in opposite places....and no mains power by the looks of it?! Si
16. Bumped to add Guyatone BB-2 Si
17. The MD-2 does work great on bass, it sounds better than the ODB-3 IMO. Si
18.
Been trying to cram it on for ages now, it's beat out the Oxide for sure but now the choice is between it and the BB preamp and the Analogman Chorus on the pt-jnr.
I had two BB Preamps going for two different gain settings. My Rat Tail with 2nd distortion mod sorts that in one pedal . I feel guilt though as the BB Pre is a great sounding pedal haha Si
19. Fuzzrocious Rat Tail or Oh See Demon. Do it.....Do it now Also CoPilot Orbit, Dwarfcraft Great Destroyer, Xotic BB Pre Si
20.
Decisions, decisions! ORRRR???
Bottom one, easy Get that Stache in the Fuzzrocious porn section (Effects) Si
21.
I think it's gonna be oscillation and diodes (germanium and 4001), I'll be placing my order tonight. Then it's the waiting game...
Do it . My Stache is an odd one, I have 3 diode options (as opposed to 'no diodes'), Germanium, LEDs, asymmetric LEDs (huge). The oscillation is also a different type to accommodate the gate, more white noise than 'feedback' ...... tis awesome Si
22.
I'm about to buy a Grey Stache, I would have bought one weeks ago if I wasn't being so indecisive about which mods to go for! I'll report back once I've made my mind up.
So which mods did you decide on? Si
23.
Cool, you got a Sonic Kitchen! How you like it?
Yeah it's really good! It's actually got a better high gain tone to the Xotic, whilst the Xotic has a wider range from low-gain to high. So I set the SK as heavy gain, with the Xotic set to real low tubey overdrive. Si
24. Thought I'd try and show some love for US pedal builder Fuzzrocious, there's a few guys on here with them, so lets get the UK contingent showing http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/smile.png. For those that don't know the company, they're a family run business, with Ryan building them & his wife Shannon painting them. To cut down the wait time, you can opt to not have Shannon paint, and have Stamped or Etched. However, the more popular seems to be their 'Kid-Paint' option, whereby your pedal can be painted by their young children (2 & 4 years old). www.fuzzrociouspedals.com/ Below is my: Grey Stache with Oscillation & Gate mods (Kaeden paint) Broke Richard Peanut Gallery with enclosure painted by Shep On Bass (Pantherairsoft) Rat Tail with 2nd Drive mod (Raeven paint) Oh 'She' Demon (Shannon paint) http://i47.tinypic.com/rapzex.jpg For those that don't know the company, they're a family run business, with Ryan building them & his wife Shannon painting them. 25. Bumped for pic and pedal age/date. Cheers Si
