1. Did a little update of the stock lol IN Mr Black Eterna (from Circuits To Cure Cancer auctions) Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Synth (older big box) Out Digitech Synth Wah Mark Bass Mini Distortion Guyatone BB Bottom Boost Si
2. They simply took over the production of the B3K, don't even think they have the B7K? Although may well be wrong about that Si
3. Did anyone take part in the auctions? I bagged myself the Mr Black 'Eterna', really great sounding reverb! Si
4. Bump, need to clear some space Si
5. Oh no, my dad will be gutted Bob was a great great player! Si
6. I saw Edger Meyer play with Nickelcreek years ago and he was rocking some overdrive and an envelope filter whilst playing Arco, sounded great, but then he's an incredible player. Si
7. Cool man, lemme know if you change your mind Si
8. The Aguilar Octamizer is essentially a modern equivalent to the Meatbox, it doesn't go as low frequency wise though. I don't think it has the character of the Meatbox, but some people prefer it's consistency, which is fair enough Si
9. Have a nice HF-2 flanger going.....think Chorus Justin Chancellor style?! :-P Si
10. The might sound lame, but try it everywhere in the chain. Where it goes is where it sounds best to you! Si
11. Really? I run mine pretty low gain?! Looking for any trades? Si
12. I'm not saying you wouldn't hear something different through a tiny amp......but you certainly aren't hearing what the pedal is built for. Have fun and be careful Si
13.
I ask because I picked one up last night. Makes my 10w practice amp sound like a beast!!! and far more punchy!
*face:palm* The pedal puts out an octave lower boosted at 30hz........you won't hear that via a 100w practice amp let alone a 10w. It shouldn't hurt pedals, it may make them spaz out in a good way, feeding them a LOT more lowend than your bass will, but it's speakers that often have issues. Amps will need decent headroom to not clip Si
14. Yup I've got a couple and working on a clone (headache) Definitly use last in chain, it has a dry and wet out, dry out to your amp, wet out to DI/PA, as mentioned above There are plenty of people who just use the wet out to their amp as normal, but I don't think I could relax in that situation, I'd be waiting for the big bang Good luck Si

16. Hi guys, Thought I'd post here as you are probably the target audience Please take a look over here: http://circuitstocurecancer.com/ This is an initiative of pedal builders from around the world who have donated their wares for Cancer research. All the pedals are in eBay under their seller ID. Take a look. Great pedals, great cause Cheers Si
17. Bump, tidied the thread up a bit Si
18.
I wasn't going to go for the germanium diodes until we talked about the Stache but I'm glad I did The colour is actually pink sparkle, I wanted something a bit outlandish for my board, under brighter lights it looks really pink but under lower light it looks quite red.
Yeah the Germaniums are such a great classic sound, my Stache has Germs/LEDs/asymmetric LEDs. I'm also use the asymmetric LEDs, huge sounding.....although obviously sacrificed the 'no diodes' setting with these options. Also using the LEDs setting on my Rat Tail, must just be my thing Si
19. Please let me know if the sale falls through Si
20. From Joe's or direct? Feedback switch? Si
21.
It seemed like the most sensible thing to do. Those Daka-Ware knobs look cool but being all-black against an all-black pedal makes reading settings at a gig impossible.
Couldn't agree more, Davis knobs on for mine! Si
22. A good way of getting around the P/J issue is to have a Jazz humbucker (Dimarzio UltraJazz for example) in the bridge position, this evens it out slightly with the P pickup. This is what I've had done in my P/J fretless Si
23.

Ah you changed the knobs on your BB too, good call SI
24. Bump for Tourman pics Cheers Si
25. Very cool Si
