  2. Brought a bass from John, super smooth transition. Extremely helpful. Excellent communication throughout. Fantastic guy. 😃
  3. For sale with hardcase is a Made in Korea (CorTek) DeArmond JetStar Special (Spel) precision, long scale, in glossy black. The JetStar was designed for Guild by Keith Brawley, and subsequently FMIC. The Guild version was used by the late Peter Tork of the Monkees. Sold
  4. Are they a Village People tribute band?
  5. Brought a case from Dave, incredibly helpful. Top bloke.
  6. Get one of these, drop in replacement. https://www.homeoftone.co.uk/blogs/news/new-squier-bronco-bass-upgrade-kit
  7. It is 7.5, it's the last of the MIJ squires, which were based on the late 50s, early 60s fenders.
  8. Will purchased a lovely jazz from myself. Fast payment, excellent communication. Very nice guy.
  9. It's a mid 70s Kay, the wood colour headstock were the early ones, later they had a gloss black headstock in the late 70s and early 80s. A secret with these is ordinarily they have an ok vintage sound. But put an overdrive or fuzz in the chain and it'll sound awesome. Lots of fun.
  10. I don't think the pickups are the neodymium version, but the ceramic one's. Neo's have PBXN written on them.
  11. For sale a 1977 Kimbara jazz copy, made in Japan (Matsumoku). Sold
  12. For sale a 1999 Yamaha Motion B with passive precision and jazz pickups. Sold
  13. The stock pickups on my Spel were ok, dropped in some 2021 Squier CV late 50s pups (alnico), now it sounds every bit as cool as it looks. 😎
  14. There's a red one on eBay currently. Looking at the position of the P pickup, I'm thinking it's screaming out for a big chrome mudbucker next to the neck.
