I have very recently bought a bass from these chaps. Will was brilliant to deal with. The bass arrived very quickly, within 48 hours of purchase. That is amazing considering couriers/post/weather at this moment. It was superbly packaged. On opening it, the bass was exactly as per photos. Intonation was spot on as was action, neck relief & pickup heights. The bass has been very well cleaned, it was superbly presented. FULLY RECOMMENDED PEEPS, buy with utmost confidence. Bit late to see this. 2 X OBC 112's are more than enough for any pub/club gig I do. I've never needed the gain or master past noon even in the bigger clubs (OBT Mark 11). Superb modular rig, very light, sounds wonderful.

Yup, strange that. I've just double clicked it and it went to the Facebook link which is a Floyd tribute band sound check in Chorley. Anyway, last night I took the Bass Collection Power Bass to the gig. My Jazz Elite never left it's stand. The range of the pickup on the Bass Collection is excellent, it's quite light - the neck is exquisite. I love this Fender copy! 😁

Interesting this. I'm a bit of a Fender fan boi but I've recently been looking for a non PJ with slimmer neck. The most obvious is the Nate Mendel but by accident I saw/heard the following bit of soundcheck. I knew the neck profile was good, had a chat with the bass player who I've sort of known for 50 years and it's now in a rack behind me. Mainly P on full all the time & dialing woofer in for more bottom end when needed. Bit of a faff often needing to dial stuff in-between songs, but worth it

Regarding harness if you do replace it, it might be worth considering a stack pot for the P pup. With it being woofer vol tone, but only volume for the P I always felt I was missing bit of potential on mine (stupidly long gone).

40mm nut & slimmer back to front compared to the 44 mm Attitude LTD. Alain, Richie Thomson in Wigan has a sratchplate template for one of these, he did a fabulous brown tortie for me some years ago. Just in case 🙂 edit, I forgot, I sprayed the woofer cover black.

Also, the 5 piece may be going out as a 4 piece for a few gigs so I'm thinking it would give a little more beans when the only guitarist is soloing.
