    Bump. It's from 1976, it's very well made, it's a very good likeness to the real thing. More so than most modern Rickenfakers. It's unlikely (but slightly possible) to be worth any less in the future £330 delivered by Parcel Farce £300 collected from Wigan. I need a second SP212, please save me from FEEBay . Karl.

I was guilty of some seriously strange basses around that time. Mind, I think most of the early 70's re-issues were non-export Japanese market.

    In the days when I was in a prog band, I used to fill in on some numbers, on the evil 6 stringed thing. I had a stunning sunburst thinline Tele, by Fenix, and it was SUPERBLY made. Good luck with your sale, Karl.

Jon.[/quote] Remember lad in local band in my yoof having exactly that bass. . I had upgraded to a Shaftesbury Tele bass then saw that. Next gig money upgrade was to be one of them , couldn't get one, ended up with an Antoria Black Eagle? Special Edition jazz which weighed about the same as Middlesbrough. Karl.
