1. Just sold Gareth my '75 RI Jazz. Absolutely flawless mate, thanks for everything and enjoy. You are a delight to deal with. PS, jealous to death of the number of gigs you are doing. Speaks volumes about your capabilities. Karl.
2. Amenra. Your response to my post "it's not actually wingnuts" has left me DUMBFOUNDED! Quote, "to be brutal all my equipment is from the ................ in London. If you require tech support please call Alex there on ................". Why on earth would I wish to ring a shop up to get an answer you could provide in seconds if only you could be arsed. Or are you the real Amenra? TECH SUPPORT? TO MEASURE A NUT ON A BASS ? What I required was; 1. You should know this basic information. 2. If you don't, get a tapemeasure and measure it. That should take all of one minute, most of that being to find a tapemeasure. It's the white bit going from one side of the fretboard to the other. I have circled it on your photo. I have gone public with my comments so that other people may be aware of the laziness they may come up against. Karl. edited for photo.
3. QUOTE QUOTE Hello, sorry to trouble but, 1. Do you still have the Lakland Bob Glaub for sale? 2. If so, could you tell me if the nut width is 1.5 inches or 1.75. Many thanks, Karl. yes i have aznd Karl with the greatest respect to you I do not measure wing nuts etc it's standard check the wbsites cheers Thank you. It's not actually wing nuts, it is the width of the nut at the headstock end of the fretboard. These basses are made with either 1.5 inch nut, (jazz width) or 1.75 inch nut (precision width). Many of us with smaller hands struggle with the wider precision neck, which is why I asked the question. Thanks, Shame, I was really interested, having sold my jazz. Good luck with your sale.
4. To be honest Séan, this time round there was a lot of interest. Very tempted particularly by Bubinga 5 and Steve_Nttm. On it's way to Gareth_hughes on Saturday, missed being able to do it tonight. Karl.
5. Hi Darren, try doing a member search for Rickironwitch, know he was looking for a Rick copy, and he lives in Liverpool, so very close. Good luck, Karl.
6. Further PM'S replied. Would consider a trade for a Geddy or Lakland Duck Dunn (even though hugely tempted by Bubinga 5's gorgeous jazz!)
7. FFS how many times do people have to be told, "if you disagree with somebody's pricing, PM them!!" New Fenders seem to be going up every couple of months at the moment. Glad you've sold it Rich, well done for sticking to your guns. As for the Highway 1, some of them were the legendary "transitionals", ie if they ran out of something on the spec, they used something else (confirmed to me by Fender). I swear, if one more person disagrees with my pricing on my RARE (YES IT BLOODY WELL IS IN BRITAIN!!!) White '75 reissue Jazz, I am going to go a kick a kitten! Karl.
8. Back up for sale, seen a stunning Aerodyne that will do the job if I am lucky enough to get it.
9.
Bump Cannot understand why people will pay £700 for a MiM Roadworn and I only want £400 for this amazing bass.now't so funny as folk
Bizzare isn't it. I couldn't sell my White '75 ReIssue at a lower price than a MiM Roadworn. Not gonna underprice it, suggest you do the same and if it doesn't go, well' you still have an excellent bass and somebody else has lost out! Good luck, Karl.
10. Recently missed one of these, this colour from Crack Converters Dundee. Simply couldn't sell my 75 reissue Jazz in time. Same applies to this one. Bugger . Best of luck, although you won't need it.

12.
Last posted in early Jan, last seen on Feb 17. I think he's long gone. But you never know
In the selling of the SPIRIT, RICK may not have gone. CAPS LOCK ON CRYPTIC. TIM.
13. Good morning Tom . Or isn't it? Oh, agree by the way.
14. Latest in product available on ebay to help someone of dubious intent sell something for a lot more than it's worth. Not on in my opinion.
15.
I guess some people just can't accept that it's OK to throw things away when they're ugly, broken and useless. Jon.
That's me in the bin then .
16. Wa hay, mentally got the '70's bit right, but would never have guessed the Strat tomfoolery. Cheers Jon.
17. 80's CMI? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT

19. Didn't know they had these tuners in '83. Didn't know P's ever had a hole for micro tilt? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
20. Purely personal, but when playing original material I find that I start off with a simple bass part then it evolves as I get to know the piece. I often ended up doing a contra melody/harmony kinda thing. When one of the original bands was a three piece, I waffled all over in verse and chorus, but usually kept it very straight/rythmic/driving for solo's. Original band, nobody knows the script and you are the bass dood . Enjoy your own creativity.
21. Presume this is like new? Cheers, Karl.
22. Don't know if anybody has clocked this one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
23. Ye Gods that is virtually criminal bollocks. According to his maths around £3000 for a Geddy. Wants to leave his medication alone.
24. It's still legal in Scotland, and the prescription is free there. (spot the bloke who hasn't got a gig tonight ).
