Hand made in Petaluma California good 'ol US of A. Despite Mesa's recent UK "price re-alignment" (ie they were ridiculously over priced when I bought this) this package will still set you back nearly £900 new. It looks like gigs will start happening again late spring, however like many older musicians I have decided it's unlikely I will gig again. This versatile, light, powerful "boutique?" bass amp head has had little but occasional home use for the last year. Excellent condition with 2 or 3 little finish chips, has 4/8 ohms or 2 ohms switch. Made in USA. 800 watts at 2 or 4 ohms, 400 watts at 8 ohms. UK mainland courier would be another £27. Feedback linked below, Thanks for looking & keep safe, Karl.

For Sale. £30 collected from Darlington, Co Durham, with mask, gloves, distance & alcohol (or for some a pre-Covid Saturday night 🤣). Gear4Music hard case for bass, Precision, Jazz etc. Scuffs, residue from stickers, can't be bothered cleaning it. It still does it's job very well thank you. In a bizarre turn of events, I still have the key & it locks Keep safe, Karl.

Love love love this bass. I used to use my green one slightly to differently to how Mike has mentioned. I used the neck woofer full on, usually with tone rolled off, perfect for the sort of Zepp, Bad Co bottom end smooth. Go to more Lizzy or punky stuff dial in as much P to give the amount of snarl the number required. Simple, beautifully made & effective.

I have just had the pleasure of Brian buying a bass from me. Decisive, quick to pay & organise what he needed to do. On top of that he is yet another of the blindingly nice guys that make up Basschat. It has been an absolute joy to deal with you Brian, my thanks for everything. Keep safe & enjoy Daffers, cheers bud, Karl.

String spacing 17mm ? I've loved that Peterbilt for years, sigh.

Try looking at various bass head owner manuals, some will give you start points, for instance my Mesa Subway 800, linked below (think it's about page 14 on download). https://mesa-boogie.imgix.net/media/User Manuals/070532_Subway_D800_171103-download.pdf

It's stopped working again! so it's not the Ki0Gon loom, the pick up is buggered. So I'm going to reduce it for a few days, then remove it, get a replacement pick up & keep the damn thing. £600, absolutely NO offers thank you. Organise & pay for your own courier please, no gigbag or case, it will be bubble wrapped & in a cardboard box. I pack well for shipping, see my feedback. I'm off to cry now thank you. -
Sorry @Thunderbird I cocked the quote bit up. "Nice bass Karl Not sure if you know but the insurance for 99 percent of courier's will not be valid if the bass is not in a hardcase for shipping it'll be in the small print somewhere glwts mate " UPS do cover it, however if I'm booking ANY courier for a buyer, my main concern is insuring against it getting LOST, where they must pay out, providing you have an evidential trail. I was screwed for a Musicman years ago and lost the bass & £600. IF THE BUYER wishes to cut the cost on courier that is THEIR decision. They want the convenience of me doing it, it's on my terms. Few basses get trashed by couriers (unlike cabs, that's always a no-no for me) especially if I have wrapped them up.

Gutted but I need to get some money. It's taken me years to finally get one of these but I now REALLY need to sell a few things. These have been long discontinued apart from a very short run about 5 years ago. There is currently a used one in Sweden, on Reverb, at a very ambitious £681 +£93 delivery! Excellent condition apart from 3 cymbal nibbles & 1 little scratch on the back. Strings are a little tired. Vol/vol/master tone (with push/pull treble cut for full fat neck woofer), from brown note to R**********r -esque clank. 9lb 5oz, lovely fast 40mm nut, neck like a Nate Mendel. Beautifully built. https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/guitars_basses/el_basses/bb714bs/index.html#product-tabs Feedback linked after photos. Will courier for extra £44 (£18 + VAT of that is insurance). UK mainland or organise your own collection. Or collection from Darlington. Sorry, no trades. No gigbag or case included in price (extra £20 for basic Ritter gigbag if required). Cheers, Karl.

Cheers Jono. Tom, folk from Teesside are blocked cos they're a bit peculiar 😆 It is Daphne Blue, but it's a tricky colour to photograph. In the original post it looks quite dark. This Fender Japan model of bass is very uncommon in UK/EU, even more so in Daphne Blue, usually white ones, occasional Sunburst or black. TV logo, 40mm nut, KiOGon loom, what's not to like 🙂 -
Thanks lads. Since I had to move back to the north east just over a year ago, I've learnt over 80 new (for me to play) songs, for 3 different bands. Band 1. Did 7 gigs with them, after the last one I rang the gaffer on the Sunday morning & told him I was embarrassed to be on the same stage as them. Find somebody new. Band 2. Fabulous (ask @ebenezer ) got two gigs before lockdown, they've now disbanded. Band 3. Current, ok but some big weaknesses. They are happy to take any gig that comes up on reduced or no fees. I ain't. So I'm about ready to give up the struggle & watch Sat night TV.
