Decent hard rocking Aussie style rock! All the songs sounded the same minus one which i really liked actually!
I was slightly further back for them - sound was decent there. Just thought they were a naff band. Bit too much like ACDC for my liking (whom I'm also not a fan of) Maiden were pretty awesome, the older stuff was much better than the newer stuff i thought. Was in stitches at Bruce getting distacted mid song by the girl flashing ("Did you just flash your T!ts? You did didnt you? They were very nice") The amount of faded band tshirts and denim was shocking! Oh and white dunlop trainers..
 2.
Haha will do Dave! Where do you work? (just out of interest! haha) I'm going Maiden spotting today in like an hour as i've dreamt of even just getting a photo of them for like 4/5 years and i don't think i'll take a camera tonight so i can get up to the front! (Need to see Steve Harris up on the moniter!)
I'm a Desktop and Server Engineer currently outsourced to a company in Union Plaza. Might go for a wander too and see if they're kicking about.. Though i'm sure they'll just look like someones metal dad doing the shopping.
 3.
Only 11 hours now! Incidently if you see someone with Purple-ish hair and a white rage tshirt come say hi

 7. Here is my new setup - I havent taken a picture with just the board yet.
 8. Hey guys - hoping someone can give me some advise here. Recently bought a jazz with a j-retro deluxe. Very nice feeling bass, but when i plug it in, it snarls at me. Even when its in passive mode i get an intense distortion out of it. I've tried playing around with it, but i'm struggling to tame this beast! If i could tame her, then i can try her with my pedals and incorporate the 5 string fun into my new stuff. So does anyone know how to dial a sound that isint going to eat my face?

 11. How do these systems work with fx? Eg i have a deep impact, mastatron and mammoth and im not sure if these would behave with wireless. I used to have a samson one but found it was abit pointless at the time.

 15.
Repair your flat (hang on... hear me out ) then employ an up coming local luthier to custom build you something to your exact specifications for half the price and half the waiting time of a big name luthier. Twa birds wi a' steen.
You wouldnt happen to build basses would you...? Also based in the 'deen right?
 16.
spend a happy evening fantasising on www.warmoth.com
tempting...
 17.
If I was in your position I'd get a natural Sadowsky with maple neck.
I had thought them. Will go have a look. ta
 18. Hey guys, This will be an interesting thread. I currently might have some money just now (flat repair or new bass...) I have about 2k max to spend. I want something like my Lakland DJ4 since i love the neck profile of it. I will admit that i'm a sucker for a 70s jazz in Natural with maple neck and block inlays but thats not a major requirement. I prefer J style pickups and would like to be able to bypass a preamp (im not sure how the zvex pedals react with actives?) I've messaged Jon Shuker about a stock bass he appears to have just now, but i'm not sure if that will still be available etc. So... fun part. Anyone got any suggestions for me? Go nuts. Dave
