2. Hi there, off for a few days, back Wed pm... if anyone has any questions feel free to call me on 07779 718 119 Andy
3. Seriously a mate of mine recently found one in a skip... works fine... well as it should.... maybe the last two zeros are a mistake.
4. Teaser......
5. One bass at a time..... i've still got loads of kit to move and i will get back to you if there's enough left after this..exercise... Andy
6. Go on.... if it's of interest i'm passing your way on Monday..... going to see Chatsworth House... could always drop it off f.o.c. Andy
7. Well I've been promised I'd be divorced if i ever do it... which as i informed the current Mrs A is most definitely a two edged sword.... Andy
8.
Beautiful bass, I've always fancied one of these.
Go on then... you know you deserve it.... as a friend of mine once said.... 'enter hallway holding Bass with arm outstretched... summon wife, profer chin.... say... I'm keeping it, go on, take your best shot....' Andy
9. Hadn't really thought, not been using fretless since i bought an EUB... are you looking for one? Andy
10. Hi all, try as i might, 6 ain't happening... moving back to five.. Up for grabs is my TRB 6P. Through-neck, Red Blonde, 1991 (far as i can find out). Fully functional, just re-strung with Rotos (30 - 125). In a new Hiscox Lite Flite in Cream finish. Really quick neck, super low action, no buzzes. Some wear to the gold finish on metal parts. Master Vol, Pan between magnetic pups, pan between magnetic and piezo systems, bass cut (for piezo), Bass & Treble actives for the magnetic pups. Don't confuse this with the Mk11 models, even though the new one's knocking on £3K it's not a patch on this version. If you haven't tried one of these ask someone who has or have a look on the net for reviews and comparisons. I'm looking for £850 or a straight swap for a Musicman Stingray 5 with Maple board (not too fussy on colour). Sorry don't get on with Rosewood boards. I work in Glasgow and live in Edinburgh if you want to try it or pick it up if you buy it. Can arrange courier delivery if you want. some pix...... Thanks Andy
11. My Sweetheart..... worth the wait ..... Andy

15. Hi there again.. try here.. from budget to seriously scary.... i orderd the cheap Astrea (well two actually)..they arrived next day..you get what you pay for but it's as good as th esupplied strings. http://www.stringmail.co.uk/ Andy
16. Snap if you'll pardon the pun...got mine today and lo....try to tune & G breaks..... bummer
17. Hi there, not in the market at the mom but just had to say this bass is gorgeous...... good luck both in moving it on and to whoever is lucky enough to end up with it. Andy
18. Well, all i can say is the 6P was the top of the range model and orignally way more than the JP which is bolt on.... so ...I've put my price on mine and i stick by it for the fortnight it's on here.... after that.... Hope he sells his..... hope more I sell mine... Andy
19. Yep the guys are right, the P here is for Piezo with JP bring the John P model. is that a Warwick Triumph 5 i see?? now I'm jealous, wish i could afford one of those.... lucky man... Andy
20. OK OK.... at least I'm old enough to claim senility in my meagre defence.... seriously I used to have a five string upright and just fancy getting another one, the TRB gets less use than the others and way less than it deserves. I'm not trying to escape from the Midlothian wing of Yam United...... if anyone has a five string Yamaha Upright...... Balders
21. Hi all, GAS Attack.... made the mistake of entering the premises of my local purveyor of quality musical instruments.......I've got a short time to get the object of my desire (a five string EUB) at a special deal... as a result... On offer is a Yamaha TRB 6P (I think it's 1991 but hard to tell as Yammy are not forthcoming on dates), this was the top of the line model, two single coil (but sooo quiet in operation you'd never know) magnetic pickups and a Piezo system as well. Master Vol, Balance (front to rear Magnetic), Bass & Treble EQ (only works on Magnetic System), Balance (Smaller pot) between Magnetic and Piezo Systems and a Bass cut switch which only applies to the Piezo system. Through neck, twin truss rods, finished in 'Redblonde' Comes with original Yamaha case. Apart from the 'Yamaha' lettering being worn off the pickups the bass is in excellent condition with a super low action and no buzzes. The case is in 'Fair' condition through wear and tear...but hey that's it's job... Given the above... if it goes in the next two weeks it's a Basschat special of £750 including Courier delivery for UK Mainland addresses. Thereafter it'll be off up the 'bay at £850 buyer pays for delivery. feel free to mail or call 0779 718 119.... would also swap for the right 5 string EUB..... Worth a note that the Bass Gallery have a series 2 at £1700, this has humbuckers and a rail bridge.... read anything you can find... not up to the originals.... save £1000...you know it makes sense... Andy
22. Sold subject to the usual..... will re do title on completion of the transaction. Thanks all Andy
