3. Thanks for that... it's an odd (but good) feeling to know we look out for one another...all I need is someone with a 5 string fretless Spitfire that want to upgrade... more realistically I think I'll buy some cider Andy
4. Good idea (mailing Bernie that is)... Andy
5. Bumpage for a price drop, happy to consider any 5/6 unlined fretless trades... Andy

9. Rumour 6 Burr Thulia with matching headstock.. unlined ebony board virtually as new with Hiscox as supplied by Bernie. The tiger striping on the back of the neck is stunning as is the front (this was from the same piece of Thulia as Laurie Cottles'... have a look at the pattern on his and mine) I'm in no rush as I really need to get this right this time, getting too old... Thanks for looking... Andy
10. Ahead of me.. I thought the same and read it twice befroe I realised..... oh well at least onset senility means I won't bother/remember by tomorrow..... Andy
11. Does the flightcase have wheels ? and does it still have the original Trace Drivers...???? oh oh .. too much Cider....... Andy
12. Hi there I got one of these... you tend to wonder how they'll cope ..I use a Stingray5 fretted and a GB Rumour 6 Fretless at rehearsals with drums and acoustic through a PA and Guitar albeit through a Peavey mini combo.. I 've also used it for live BBC sessions and they were happy as it's a known Industry standard..... I paid more second hand and mine did not have a bag.... and I think I got a good deal..someone buy it .. actually take your Bass ad try it first then it's a no brainer.... good luck with the sale man . Andy
13. Hi there, the ECI (Earth Continuity Indicator) is designed to flash if the circuit detects an earthing fault either in the ring the amp is plugged in to, in its own power cord, or internally...least that's how I got it explained to me by Trace when I bought my brand new 1812 stack with AH400 bi-amp head back in 1984.... gives away age...whilst they can develop faults, it may be worth sticking a Martindale tester in the wall socket just in case, double checking your power cord and if all that checks out OK gettng a teck to have a quick look. old man in the far north.... Andy
14. Sorry but from the pic it appears the head is broken off... I'll give you...em... an Alembic finished in 'fresh air'...

17. Not seen one of these in years.. the are gorgeous instuments, very piano like tone, well above what you generally expected from the far east at the time. good luck, whoever buys won't be disappointed. andy
18. Hi there, looked at what I think was one of these in Guitar Guitar in Edinburgh.. are these the MZ ie Mexican series? i looked at a distressed Salmon Pink Jazz...If so can't see paying nearly a grand for a Mexican Fender to get £300 back if it doesn't work out.. I got my USA '75 reissue Jazz six weeks old for that.. Andy
19. I never thought when I posted last night about the cab that you had a secret weapon poised to attack its' total..... I think the BOM should give you a prize for single-handedly creating more traffic than anybody else... ps good looking bass.. hope you get a result soon. Andy
20. Yahooooooo!!!!! Qustion is WHAT could possibly fill the gap.. over 6000 hits.... mmmm need to be something special. Congrats to Geoff too.. super cabs. Andy
21. Been lookin and while it's good to see this thread go on i really hope you get a sale soon... these are fantastic cabs, the 18 does WAY more than you think it will for the box size and the 10 just adds the right amount of definition... I used to use two 1812 stacks with an AH500 and slave.. i used to have a Volksy van, accommodation with a lift and be thirty years younger ... if you like bass this is the box at silly money... IMHO Andy
