1. What sort of I/O is on the Motu? I may also be interested in any sort of DI or reamping boxes you may have.
2. Anybody? It's a really cool guitar - I just have a few too many to justify keeping it!
3.
I'm going to sound like such a tool here... but what the hell is a GAS?
Perhaps it's better that you, and your wallet, don't know!
4. I'd love a bongo too, probably a white 5HH for me. My only gripe is that they've got painted necks - it's understandable why a set neck/neck-thru could be painted, but why would anybody want to paint the back of a bolt on neck?!
5. Not particularly If you're interested in any particular parts I can split it up for you.
6. (The black one) It's a fully functioning guitar - plays and sounds great. The only problem is that there are a few scratches and the sides of the guitar have been taken down to a matt finish. It would make a perfect backup or something to mess around with. Looking for £80 ono
7.
(thinking about taking up guitar)
I think the world is telling you something.
8. I vote walk away too. As a side note, my band is considering entering a local BOTB too. Apparently to enter we have to write and record a song about AIDS (Awareness, obviously ).......
9. If you paid by credit card perhaps you could just just retract the payment and let your bank and the shop sort it out?
10. Looks a bit like this: 50w all valve, 4 channels, Spring Reverb, everything is footswitchable. It's a great amp for anything from blues to metal. VERY loud, even more so if you run an extension cab. It's in great condition except for one tear in the tolex at the front. I'm looking for £650 collected
11. Hey everybody, I'm looking to get a nice small rig to replace my current one. The LMII, GB Shuttles and the Ashdown Little Giant are the main contenders. I've played a Markbass combo before and I must admit they sound amazing, but they're pretty expensive. I'd like to get a small head and a light cab so I can have the amp in the gig bag (left hand) and the cab in the right hand. Does Ashdown build quality still suck? Will the savings now cause more problems further down the road?
12. Have I missed the boat on this? (I'm in Sheffield.)
13. I have a old MIM jazz neck as well as a Mighty Mite Maple/maple Jazz neck if you're interested?
14. Simply put, the guys at Wizard Guitars are a bunch of w***ers. 30 seconds with anybody working there will confirm this.
15. Hey, If the deal falls through I am very interested in this.
16. I like your tone and playing, but there are a few bits where it's not 100% tight. But serious props you for playing it with your fingers! Dave's a monster bass player.
17. A Shuker perhaps? I don't think you can ooze more quality than that, and you can have as much vintage vibe as you want! Either that, or buy a Spector and deal with it.
18. That's a huuuuge neck pocket gap. I like the colour combos though!
19. http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adver...5/15f0bb68.html Can't go wrong for that price
20. I just missed a fretless corvette on the Bay actually, it went for ~£300 I think. I think I'll probably get a fretless neck for my Jazz. Does anybody know how Ebanol compares to Ebony in terms of feel and durability?
21. The title says it all. The only bass I can think of at the moment is a Warwick corvette FL. I played one at a guitar show a while back and it sounded huge (might have been the amp though) but I'm not a huge fan of the corvette shape. The ebony fingerboard felt amazing. Max budget ~£500?
22. Are you up for a straight sale for the LMII?
23. One of the biggest differences is the grades of woods used IMHO. The flame and quilt tops on US models are a lot better than the ones on Euros (very noticeable on the new ones.)
24. Looks great! Sadly, this is doing the exact opposite of curing GAS for me!
