  1. I like it....... in small doses, very 90's fusion.
  2. Very sturdy but tiny bass amp head, it's rated at 20w but isn't particularly loud through an 8ohm speaker, I mostly used it as a bedroom practice amp with headphones, it would probably be a whole lot louder through an 4ohm cab, sounds good with guitar as well and the built in chorus is handy. It's in good shape but things to note, I removed the rubber feet from the bottom and added Velcro so I could put it on my guitar's pedal board, there's a small mark on the top left hand back corner, there's also some Velcro on the power supply. You can find more details and reviews by looking it up on Amazon. Pics HERE £50.00 £45.00 £40.00 £35.00 £30.00 collected from Sydenham in SE London, £36.00 posted via Yodel. R. SOLD ON EBAY
  3. Taking it to a charity shop if it doesn't go soon, apparently I have too much stuff cluttering up the spare room 🙄
  4. Bit of a rubbish picture but it shows I'm back owning a short scale again 🙂 no going back this time! I got this messed about with Squier CV Mustang in a trade, I can get a really nice recorded sound with the tone rolled off a bit and it plays really well so I'm more than happy, if only it was white 😄
  5. Off to see Larkin Poe at the Roundhouse tonight, I'm a bit knackered as I was at Lloyd Cole's Union Chapel gig last night and I saw Level 42 play Fairfields Hall in Croydon on Thursday 💤
  6. I recently got a Squier Classic Vibe Mustang in a trade for a Precision, it has round wounds on it but I fully expected it to be a dull thumper, it's nothing of the sort! I love the recorded tone of them, according to the guy I got the bass from the standard pickups have been wax potted, I have no idea if that changes the tone but thought it was worth mentioning.
  7. Noticed that at last nights gig in Croydon but couldn't work out what it was 👍 Maybe he uses it as an expensive DI?
  8. Thank you for that information, much appreciated.
  9. Long gone bass but must get another one of these stickers
  10. I've never seen one of these things before, doesn't smack of a 1980's bass to me either. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374956247328?hash=item574d224920:g:~uUAAOSwMIJlAxE8&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwBiK1rVs8eB4%2Bn3UQcNiG154BSafqkmthKxw00HSUUGfku4od1jKi3xeX7e6Y7SOxm4d2nShj4ShSn4gYqBdk2yCc2%2F0PevHgTuC5c6rmdDbFxqXhCOoLKU5e%2BxKvw3QHkxc6jqWKTYm4l6UXLH17Cmzg%2Bb%2F40umzc20yFu7S1Qt%2FeCWbur2xN8CRUqG0%2FQYkphl1HWkKeg07oNGgwHIpgvpTtWQ%2FvBTKIe7lXMJ%2FQGYcsg%2FoeBVzmWrLdZ0ABz%2BMw%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8DZrojeYg
  11. Shameless self promotion I know but I have a nice Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster neck for sale in the 'Accessories & Other Musically Related Items For Sale' section that might make your Project Tele more playable? There is also a good looking cheap red Stratocaster copy in the same section ( that has nothing to do with me 🙂 ) that might be worth a punt st £50, I was tempted with that myself!
  12. I think @PaulThePlug is having it.
  13. Going in the bin in the next few days.
  14. Had to empty the loft to have the flue checked and found this, gawd knows how long it's been up there but looks like it's never been used. A few marked here and there from being shunted about the loft and the felt that the Velcro sticks to could do with looking at as it's a bit loose in a couple of places. Comes with a strip of Velcro £20.00 £15.00 Collected from Sydenham in SE London or possibly meet up at a Central London station. PICS HERE R.
  15. I recently sold my old Art Tube Mic Pre, over the years I've used it with both bass and guitar and you can get a bit of tube warmth and even over drive it a bit, I'll probably regret selling the thing but at the moment I don't have a use for it, they are only 12v AC so nothing like a proper tube amp but cheap enough to consider giving one a try.
  16. Me too and I'm only a stones throw away now 😄
  17. I used to play a fretless Shergold Marathon in an originals pop/rock band in the late 80's without issue. I was listening to some tapes from that band decades later and heard a rare slide during a break in rehearsals up until then I had forgotten it was the fretless I used.
  18. Heard this for the first time earlier today on 6Music, the radio was only on quietly but the bass jumped out immediately.
  19. Sorting out the loft and I found this vacuum sealer I used to use for air tight storage of hops back when I did home brewing, it's of no use to me now. Worked the last time it was used, comes with a couple of rolls of part used 'bags'. Free collected from Sydenham in SE London or I can send it via Yodel if you pay the postage. R.
  20. Not only is there no opt out option but even if I begrudgingly press 'Got it' it reappears the next time I visit BC, it was even in French one time!
