  1. I bought a Sony lens from Frank and he even hand delivered it, now that is service with a capital S. Top Fella R.
  2. I picked this up at the weekend as I wanted to try the neck on a Precision bitsa I have, works a treat so this body is now surplus to requirements. It's a 2008 Chinese CV body, the finish is in excellent condition, no dings apart from the chip next to the neck pocked that came off when I was removing the neck 😠 I will include the chip should you wish to glue it back on. Worth pointing out as it might be a negative to some people is that the control plate, the chrome on the bridge and some of the screw heads are tarnished (see pics) and would need replacing if you want it looking minty. I played it briefly before taking the neck off and the pots worked smoothly and silently. £145.00 Collected from Sydenham in SE London or meet up at a London mainline station, I can post via Yodel for another fiver. PICS HERE R.
  3. Ooh I don't usually like Maple boards but that's one lovey neck, do you know what it's from?

  6. Very nice indeed, I had a fretless one back in the day, one of the few basses I regret selling - GLWTS
  7. I watched that on Tuesday, pretty much a repeat of the Indigo gig if I remember correctly.
  8. That's a shame, they said they are touring again next year so that's good.
  9. I think Mari was on at about 8 for maybe 40 minutes then Level 42 just after nine until 10:45. They were on good form so it might be well worth taking those extra tablets and dragging yourself along 🙂
  10. I was there last night despite the bloody tube strike! It's not a bad venue and the sound was excellent, Mark's bass was very clear most of the time.
  11. I'm not sure what bass he is using here but there's some great playing in the break down.
  12. I had no idea he had died ☹️ this is one of my favourite bass lines ever.
  13. The B string on a Dingwall is 37" scale I think, if that helps at all. Pic measuring from taper at the headstock end o the B string to the ball ends.
  14. I had reason today to dig through the parts box and I found theses strings, they came with a Dingwall NG I owned but no longer have so they are surplus to requirements, I have no way to be 100% sure they are what the packaging says I'm but if I remember correctly the seller mentioned that there was a set of DR included, with that in mind I'm happy to take them back if they buyer isn't happy with them. £10.00 delivered or I'm happy to trade for a 4 string set of dead 32" medium scale nickel rounds, 4 in-line. 4 string 34" scale flats, 4 in-line. 5 string set of nickel round wound or flats for a 34" scale bass 3+2 headstock. PICS HERE R.
  15. Popped over to Jason's yesterday to pick up a Squier CV bass, very happy with the guitar and Jason was a joy to deal with, the whole pucrhase couldn't have been easier. R.
  16. Excellent, glad to hear that it will live on 🙂
  17. I was rather fond of the look of my old Roscoe, sounded great as well, sadly I no idea where it ended up.
  18. It has USB so might work with any computer not just an old iPad, hopefully someone local to you saves it from landfill 🙂
