4. a track from the album, or this may be a non album track... not quite sure.... the album is called Surreal... really like it, they still retain that amazing Incognito sound and production... the bass playing is always top draw... 8. ive had the Aguilar for a long time now and it never ceases to amaze me how good it sounds... basses have come and gone, but the AG 500sc and the 212 always delivers a fantastic sound.. easy to use fairly light weight... i dont look any further for a better sound.. have you found your amp first time round or are you still looking?

Ive had an evening in a pub full of people listening to these two bands through a friend whos a fan and a DJ.... im a long time fan of these underrated bands... ive always been a Chic fan... these guys are just as good if not better... the bass playing and rythm section is always spot on... im sure alot of you aware of these bands but for those who may not... this music needs ears... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0hXEn1gfhA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KeKzwTmaOE&feature=related
15. that is very cool..
16. as we all know, there is no 'better'... but it seems to me you like the jazz and the p bass.. so why not do the PJ route.. either a jazz Reggie, or a PJ precision... the best precision ive ever played was either an MIJ Squire P, or a Pino custom shop... you got a great jazz bass, so a P seems logical..
17. oh this has got my bloody GAS going again... damn you greenolive
18. a bit of a feeler....I have a really nice non export MIJ 75 Jazz bass for trade only... Ash body, 70's pickup spacing, blocks, cream binding, USA pups, ultra fast neck... the growl on this bass is amazing..... im after maybe a Moon jazz or a Bacchus,.. or any other active jazz basses..
19. WOW, thats a very nice bass...
20. im aware of the american traditional strat but not a jazz bass.. do you have a link dude?
21. so whats an American Traditional then? never heard of them... ive never seen a jazz bass with traditional written on the headstock... the one piece scratchplates are from the 80's also.. do you mean American Vintage? that bass is a USA standard jazz..
22.
Perhaps not everyone's piece of cake but I consider this to be funky and groovy... Amazing what McCartney does on this track..a growly funky bass-sound and great fills. Those who ever doubt how great Paul plays,,,
loving that..
23.
If you're doing gigs at a 'professional' level I don't think you should be drinking before or through the gig. I wouldn't turn up to work pissed, I don't see why anyone who cared about their musicianship would either.
i think Chris is spot on here... i would never record, do a gig, drinking....im not a pro, but the word professional has its responsibilities..... its always great to have fun after anyways....
