1. I am selling this cracking little bass that I bought from Paul back in April of this year. I bought it for sneaky in-car (it is that small) lunchtime practice sessions at work, however I am now car sharing and not using the bass anywhere near enough so I want to move it on. I hope Paul doesnt mind but the original listing is here Apart from two issues (of my making) the bass is in cracking condition, firstly one of the frets has lifted slightly at one end, I have included pictures, doesnt affect playability. There is also a minute hole little larger than a pin prick, in the top of the right shoulder of the bass as you look at it from the front, but this is barely noticeable. Allowing for the fret issue, I am putting the bass up for £150 with free delivery, payment via Bank Transfer. Any questions let me know. Thanks
 2.
Hurrah! What do you think of it now? I must say that on both mine I found that the treble control mainly just added hiss. But I still love these basses.
I love the size and weight of the bass, it’s very easy to play, just find the active preamp a bit underwhelming. I think I will keep an eye on any Bass Collection basses coming up on eBay, I would love to try some of the others in the range. Mine is not too badly affected with unwanted noise, one of the previous owners of the bass has shielded the electronics with kit-kat foil at some point.
 3.
It might be the reason why the seller wanted to move it on! Soldering that wire back on isn't a big deal - you're in Ipswich? I'm happy to pop round with my soldering iron if you want some help. I ended up replacing the electronics on my 465 with one of the Artec pre-amps. That made a big difference.
Hello Pete, I am in Ipswich, just off Cauldwell Hall Road. Thanks for the offer, very much appreciated, but took the bass into work yesterday and managed to get the repair done at lunchtime. Knowledge of electronics and using a soldering iron is definately something I need to work on.
 4.
I think the active'ness' is the weakest part of these otherwise great basses. If there's a fresh battery, you can hear the EQ working and it's not distorted, then it's probably working fine. It's just not very good! May be worth checking for adjustable pots inside the electronics cavity (one of mine had that) which you could note the position of then try tweaking, see what they do.
May have found the problem, took the back plate off and could see that the positive cable connecting the battery to the socket jack had come away at the socket jack, perhaps a dry joint on the solder? This was an eBay purchase, and the guitar had not been packaged well at all, wonder if this could have caused the problem? My only dilemma is wether to return the bass or keep it and begin my guitar electrics education.
 5. I recently purchased the above bass, but have found the active’ness’ to be a bit ‘meh’. I am sure this is a Noddy question , but Is there a good way to check the state of the electrics on an active bass?
 6.
I am seriously amazed that this is still around. Stunning basses and a superb price. I would never sell mine, I love it to bits. Seriously if it doesn't sell at this price keep it. It would be a travesty to let it go any lower. Matt
Thats good enough for me Matt, I had been thinking of keeping hold it and your right it is a great bass. This bass is now withdrawn.
 7.
Come on Basskit. I've got 2 babies ( 14 and 16 ) and I know you simply can't be THAT tired !!!! you set a Monday morning deadline!!! C
It crossed my mind to reply to this at 1am and 4am when I was warming baby bottles and at 6am when I got up for work. At least I am now at work so I can have a sleep in the toilets most of the morning. The bass is CIJ and I bought it from TOM1946 back in March. I am know wavering and think that I may keep the bass, from what people have said it seems that it might be a worthwhile investment to keep it and get somebody suitable to fix the bodywork issues.
 8. Bump for £400 picked up, no interest come Monday morning and I will stop flogging this dead horse and keep it.
 9. 3:40 am feeding the baby, bump. Had some interest from outside the Uk, but i am only looking to ship within the UK. Thanks

 11.
I hate waiting. Any idea when it will arrive? I'm sure mine only took a couple of days.
Got an e-mail from David to apologise for not getting the bass out on Monday (date of order) and then it would be sent out today for Wednesday delivery. Just checked the order tracking and it has been dispatched and should be with me tomorrow.

 13. The Aero bass is now down to £199(£214 delivered), from what people have said this is a bargain price, so just got mine. Link here
 14.
fancy this? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=98948
Thanks for the offer BT!, in a few weeks I might be interested but right now I am just looking for a sale
 15. I have my Fender Geddy Lee up for sale on this site here. It has a couple of gashes in the paintwork that go down to the bare wood, I have got as far as levelling the holes up with black nail polish, but dont want to go any further for fear of doing even worse damage to the finish. Can you anybody recommend anybody in Suffolk/North Essex that could undertake this type of repair? Cheers

 17.
Wasn't someone on this forum selling one of these after realising that he'd jumped the gun a bit by buying one for his yet unborn child?
That was me, and he arrived into the world 7:18am yesterday morning. I managed to sell my Tanglewood on Ebay last week. CHeers
 18. Withdrawn I am only selling it because I am trying to reduce my bass collection. Since the last listing I got my local guitar repair person to fix a couple of marks on the sides of the lower half of the bass, they have been made level and now just need polishing up. The two picture show the original marks, I will post further pics of the repairs tonight. I will get some pictures of the repair added to the listing tonight.
 19. Sk8 purchased my EHX Bass Synth, quick payment and good communication, very easy guy to deal with. Cheers
 20. As the title says I am selling off my Tecamp 210 combo. Whilst it is a great combo and sounds fantastic, it is being wasted, it is only used to play at home so I am the only one who gets to hear it. I am also selling it to save a bit of space, my first baby has arrived and the computer/music room has been taken as a nursery. I have been relegated to a corner of the lounge. Tecamp say the following about this combo: The Puma combo 210 is fitted with newly designed TecAmp 10” bass speaker chassis that work in meticulously calibrated enclosures to deliver expanded low end. The combos feature the new NTM-1 middle-high cone speaker with a Neodymium double magnet system. Working in a sealed enclosure it impresses with a low roll-off frequency and a very flat frequency response, thus delivering a smooth top end far beyond 10 kHz at astounding sound pressure levels. Every Puma combo boasts an external Speakon® output for the connection of an additional speaker cabinet. The handle on top and the castors at the Puma combo 210 allow an easy handling. They also say this: Model: Puma Combo 210 Configuration: 2 x 10” TecAmp LE10-65 4 ohms Preamp: solid state preamp with gain, taste, lo, lomid, himid, hi, master controls, switchable mute, DI pre/post, XLR balanced DI out, 1 x effects loop, tuner out, line out, line in Power Amp: Class D amplifier, 320 w; 500 w / 4 ohms Power supply: switching power supply Cooling: high quality temperature controlled fan Tweeter: 1 x NTM-1 hi-mid speaker with double Neodym magnet system 4” cone Freq. Response: 42-19.000 Hz Dimensions (W x H x D): 44 x 65 x 41 cm; 17” x 25,5” x 16” Weight: 20,5 kg / 46 lbs The combo itself is in excellent condition, no marks on it as it has not left the house. I also have the owners manaual that came with it. I am based in Ipswich, Suffolk and am looking for £525 pick up only. If you need anymore pictures or information let me know. Cheers
 21.
Price is not an easy one for tecamp, especially after the guitarguitar sale. When i needed the money I put my 1x12 combo up here asking £500, I had a lot of interest and 3 definate 'will buy's, but then no longer needed the money and withdrew it. The 2x10 is obviously bigger and has the next amp up in it if i'm not mistaken? Also I think eubassix sold one recently?
Yes, I saw that eubassix had one up for sale here recently, out of courtesy to him (didnt want to start a price war) and the fact that I was undecided I held off putting mine up. I am thinking £650 pickup or £670 delivered at the moment, guess I just need to decide what I am going to do by tonight and I can then decide whether to list it on here or shut the hell up about it Thanks for your help
 22.
You can stack the nappies on your 2x10. They'll just fall off a 1x10, it's way too small.
