I have my Bass Pod XT Live For Sale. I bought it last year when I was looking for a wah pedal, my thinking was why not spend a bit more and get all the other lovely effects as well. However I have since found that as nice as it is having all the effects I am still only using the auto wah, so it might as well go, saving me some floor space and getting me some more GAS tokens. smile.gif The unit has only been used infrequently and only in my spare room it is in excellent condition, controls show none of the usual wear and tear. I have all the paperwork, box and packaging, so it will arrive to you as new. If you are looking to buy the price is £150 delivered, £140 pickup SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
Mine is also like that.
So I should assume that this is a feature and not something that needs changing?

I have just bought a Ray34, I am really pleased with it, however I have one question: The nut doesnt sit flat on mine, the E string side seems a couple of mill higher than the G. This makes the E string sit higher than the other strings I have adjusted the action on that string and it now seems fine. From what I can see the nut on mine looks similar to the OP's, almost a wedge shape is this normal? Apologies for the hijack and also if the question is a bit daft.

The first bass I bought was the Dean Jeff Berlin Basic Bass, I really like it, it feels very confortable to play. One thing I noticed is that although it is a full scale bass it is a good couple of inches shorter than a Fender Jazz or Precision. The last bass I bought was a Yamaha RBX A2 from Redstriper on this forum, again a great bass but similar in size and proportion to the Dean. Do basses of this size have a name, are they recognised as a seperate sized bass? If not do you know of any other manufacturers that produce basses to a similar size?

I recently purchased Steve's Yamaha RBX A2 bass. I am very pleased with the bass, it is in excellent condition, better than described! It arrived in double quick time, I paid for it Wednesday night and it arrived Friday lunchtime, very well packed too. This was a great transaction for me, Steve is a great guy to deal with, buy with confidence.

Mark brought my Gibson SG bass, he was very easy to deal with, he auditioned the bass at my my house and bought it there and then. Nice guy, made a change to have somebody playing bass in my house that knows what they are doing. Thanks

Looks like the new world record attempt has failed at 18 days. After starting this thread yesterday, I phoned BassCentre but I had to leave my number as the person dealing with it was not in. I got a callback within 30 mins with apologies and confirmation that the refund had been put through, yeah right heard that before, but I can confirm that the refund is in my bank this morning.

I am looking to sell the Gibson SG that I bought from TOM1946 about 4/5 weeks ago. It is a lovely bass and really in excellent, as new condition and that is the problem, I dare not play it for fear of 'reducing' the quality of the current condition. I play it for perhaps 15 minutes every now and again and then hide it in its case when not in use, since I bought it I have fitted some chrome flats to it, only because I did not want to damage the fingerboard with rounds. It comes with the Gibson hardcase, strap, tuner, original strings, and original receipt and paperwork as well as the original strings which were replaced by the chromes. The original advert is HERE. [s]I am looking for £620 delivered to go some way to covering the cost of the chromes that is currently fitted with.[/s] SOLD

I would be interested to know if this can be beaten by any other stores but I think Basscentre can be placed into the Guiness Book of Records for the "longest delay between requesting and receiving a refund for a cancelled order" record (catchy title I know). I asked to have an order for a SB14 bass cancelled on the 29th March, now on the 14th April I am still waiting for the refund to appear in my bank account, 17 days and counting! Wouldn't be quite so bad if I they had not promised several times that the refund had been made but "it takes a couple of days for it to appear in your account". If I get a good resolution to this I will keep you informed, but lets wait and see

Having recently bought two basses from Tom, he decided to return the favour and buy my Squier Vintage Modified Jazz bass! Having now had experience of dealing with Tom as both buyer and seller I can definately say that he is a top guy to deal with. More than happy to deal with him again. Thanks
