    Hi all, So I just bought these from @johnbiffa last week for the very fair sum of £30 (postage kindly included). THEN... immediately after having purchased, my guitarist gave me 3 of his that he hasn't used in years, so now I have 3 more than I need!     Genuinely agree... while I'm sure it's technically tricky to play, there no real melody or hook or anything actually interesting to listen to. Jaco has always been a bit overrated in my eyes.

    John kindly responded to my wanted add for some Hercules wall hangers - they were sent out promptly and arrived in great condition. Another credit to basschat! Would definitely deal with again.

    Certainly nothing wrong with casing the beasts up. While I definitely don't play all of mine daily or even weekly, I do enjoy the aesthetics of having them neatly presented on the wall - almost like an art installation. I get the most enjoyment from playing them of course, but I do definitely also enjoy being able to see them every day even if I don't play them!

    Agreed, the wall plugs they come with are crap. They 'just about' do for solid walls, but I never chance them. The plugs I use are self tapping steel plasterboard plugs and they work an absolute treat. These guys:

    I've been on a bit of a hanging mission today... Anyone else a keen user of wall hangers? I've used them for years with no ill effects! I think it generally keeps them safer and I've never (yet!) had anything fall off despite all of the ones in the photos being hung of plasterboard walls (using special wall-plugs). We have a 'Basses on the Settee' thread, but I'd like to see how hung people are!

    ACG use them as stock strings on their basses - says a lot! They are very good quality and fairly priced too. Neil also will make a totally custom set for you, even if it is for a 10 string bass! (Yet to order but he said he could do it).

    You've done it all wrong sir... I'm a lefty for everything EXCEPT bass/guitar playing. With an unusual amount of foresight, I made myself start learning righty at the beginning and can now benefit from all the spoils of the righty second hand market while retaining my lefty coolness! 🤓 These are cracking guitars... I have a similar SE and they sound and play great!

    Hi all, Yet more clear out items... I bought this from Basschat ages ago and never used it! It's a fitted semi hard case for the Ibanez Premium series. Excellent Condition. Now £20 collected from Wickford, Essex or £28 posted. Cheers, Russ.

    Hi all, One more item to clear out! This is a more or less brand new Hiscox Bass EBP pear drop hard case. This came new with a custom bass I ordered last year, apart from the bass being delivered to me in it, and it being stored under the stairs for the last year, it is brand new. These are £150 new from Hiscox directly, now only asking a mere £60 collected from Wickford, Essex seems pretty fair! I can post for a tenner. Cheers, Russ

    Hi. More clear out items! I have 4 of these (I think!). I bought them when we moved house to transport my acoustics, so they've all been used one to go from house A to house B which was about 10 miles! £15 each collected from Wickford, Essex. £5 postage.     Hi all, Having a clear out, this was provided new with a guitar I bought a year or two ago, it's never left the house with me and is in more or less new condition. It comes with the rain cover too! Looking at the fusion website, these are £215 new so I think £90 is a pretty fair price. Collection fron Wickford, Essex or can post for around a tenner.     Hi all, I'm having a clear out while in the process of relocating my office down to the rehearsal studio in the garden... I've got 6 floor stands that's I don't need, 4 are the ones that support the neck and one is a very robust A-frame type, the 6th is not in the picture as I just found it! It's a tall A-frame type, not the greatest but does the trick! £30 for the lot collected from Wickford, Essex or £38 posted. Cheers, Russ.
