Tony posted the same comment on all 38 6 string basses, only for a bit of fun! It changes nothing about anyones advert! We all know how to view the For Sale section so it changes absolutely nothing, it is just a free bump!

Incorrect. Gotoh GB-7 tuners are these: This is not what is on the bass, the ones on the bass are these: These are Gotoh GB350 tuners.

I really couldn't tell you! I do suspect that they are not the original pickups though as the route is slightly larger than these Rough Crystal pickups. Maybe this was done after construction? I have no sound clips to hand, but I will record something later tonight (only using a phone though!)

They are indeed still in pristine condition! I have used the bass scarcely since having the work done. The string are still quite new and bright too!

@Dazed, I've trawled through the ceaseless pictures of various basses on my phone and found one of the whole bass. I'll add a better series of photos tomorrow, these will have to do for now!

Hi all, I am not at all sure I want to sell this as it is a completely insane bass on every level from the craftsmanship to the pickups and pre-amp, however, as is always the way, there is a bass I want and if I'm to afford it, one of my heard must go! The 'Bajadera' bass as it is called has a 39 laminate body with through neck construction, it has a multi-laminate binding and comes with exceptionally rare and quite outstanding Lefay Rough Crystal pickups, it has a brand new Noll 3 band pre-amp and has had a full re-finish by Mike Walsh of Zoot Basses roughly 2 years ago. The action is superb, the tone is anything from rich deep to singing high. It's one of the most stunning basses I have ever seen/owned. I'm based is Basildon, Essex. Collection is preferred but postage can be arranged if absolutely required. Any questions, please ask. (Will post some better photos tomorrow!) Russ.

I had one of the later ones of these, with the Hipshot bridge, and currently have a rather rare Tanglewood Baron 6 from the early 90's which was discontinued and then essentially re-marketed as the Cort A6. Very good basses indeed, the quality of the build is up there with much much more expensive basses. Who ever buys this won't regret it! Good luck with the sale!

I can vouch for the outstanding build quality of De Gier basses. I have two 6 string Elevation series De Giers and they are absolutely fantastic instruments.

If that was a 6er I'd have bought it already! £1000 is a great price too. GLWTS!
