1. Boss ODB3, bought recently from Thor. Didn't quite do what I wanted, so back up at posted!
2. I just wanted a simple fuzz pedal and Mike's one knob fuzz fits the bill perfectly. Great bloke to deal with, kept me fully informed of progess, and the pedal looks great as well! I have no hesitation in recommending him, and his product, Cheers bud.
3. Here's another gem from our session earlier this year. All the audio is live, video has some (bad!) editing. This is included on our 10 track promo cd 'LIVE AND LUDICROUS' I do hope you enjoy it, we try to be a bit different!
4. Thanks Steve G, Looking at your info, I reckon you'd get on with our fiddler and drummer, they never stop talking about machines!
5. That, apparently is what this is, and as we could never describe what genre we fitted into I can only thank the two surfers in Exmouth who came up with it. All live, warts and all, hope you enjoy it !
6. Good, thats what we aim for!
7. Thought I'd share this with youse all despite my awfull bass break! Features a rig and bass all purchased on here, this site has cost me a bloody fortune . The frankenfender is lovely Wes https://www.youtube....d&v=452n4IF5AaM We do high energy fiddle led covers, a lot of which have our own twist, including Britney and Kylie songs, with the aim of making our gigs FUN. Must be working, just booked our 5th wedding for next year! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
8. I haven't even mentioned compensation to them yet ash. It was difficult enough getting them to report the theft of my bass to the police even after the seller and I had tracked it down and involved plod ourselves!
9. Yodel finally reported this to the police at about 11.45 this morning, over three full days after we provided them with evidence that the bass had been stolen, and ater I lost my temper with one of thier line managers. This after telling myself, 'dont lose your rag, it doesn't help', but frankly the speed at which they are moving would test the patience of a saint!
10. Porkpie, on 18 May 2012 - 04:38 PM, said: Beware of using YODEL, see link http://basschat.co.u...precision-bass/ Gave a statement to the police today, may hear something back by the end of the week. AVOID YODEL !
11. Try online on SAY NO TO 0870. put Yodel Inverness into the search and see if something comes up. If it doesn't put a question on the forum there and it won't take long!
12. All I can say is hassle them as much as possible, luckily I am only 4 miles from their depot, so was able to go in, which seemed to actually get thigs moving, though not as quickly as I would have liked, and they still haven't reported the bass as stolen! I can only agree with you Hutton, they couldn't care less. If we hadn't tracked down my bass I'm sure they'd still be making lame excuses.
13. Definately, mine was an Aria P copy and was a great player. Sold it to buy an Ibanez Roadstar and regretted it imediately.
14. The shop that bought it initially have told me that they'll take the hit for what they paid for it, so fingers crossed I should be ok, other than the huge amount of time and phone calls. And yes, a huge stroke of luck, combined with a rare and unusual instrument that was easy to spot, and a thick as pigsh*t scrote who took it to a shop to sell. Plus of course this wonderful community on here Mind you, as I said earlier, I haven't got it yet!
15. Beware of using YODEL, see link http://basschat.co.uk/topic/176635-fender-paisley-precision-bass/
16.
Happy ending = well done basschat
Definately well done Basschat, and Bones12 for being a decent honest bloke, and to Riki the seller who has worked as hard as I have to try and get this sorted. Not yet a happy ending though, as I now have to go through the bureaucracy of trying to get the bass back, starting with another time consuming trip to the police station this Sunday to make a statement! As for Yodel, despite the fact that this was obviously nicked from thier depot they have still failed to report it to the police. I can only reiterate, don't send anything via Yodel Newton Abbot depot for the forseeable future as it may well go missing Whoever is doing this knows that Yodel's system for flagging problems is so slow, that as in this case, the item has been sold on twice before they'll even admit it's gone missing. And even then only after I told them that we'd traced it to the second purchaser. As of the time of writing this they still haven't reported it to the police, which leads me to believe I may still have problems getting it back. OK, rant over, I'll keep you all posted as to how this pans out, by the way did I mention to avoid Yodel!! Thanks again Bones and Riki.
17. Hi Bones12, I am almost certain this could be the same bass that went missing from Yodel in transit to me on Saturday 12 may. The depot concerned, Newton Abbot have said to me that they think they have a thief in house, though they have still failed to involve the police as yet. Myself and the seller are trying to sort that at the moment. Please can you or anyone else in the Plymouth area who is offered this or see it for sale get in touch with me, Neil on 07813692061 or the seller Riki on 07982196166. ALSO,I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE SENDING ANYTHING TO DEVON VIA YODEL NEWTON ABBOT, TO THINK AGAIN, IT MAY WELL GO MISSING.
18. I've got no. 438, and if yours is as nice, then it really is a wonderful bit of kit. The best P Bass I've ever played. Have an endorsment type bump!
19. Only two made? In that case I've got the other one! Bump for an absolutely fantastic cab. I've chopped and changed for years trying to get the right lightweight cab solution. That is until I bought the other one of these, which has now been my only cab for over two years, and you'd have to fight me with knives to get hold of it! . We do 70 to 75 gigs a year at all sorts of venues, and I can't praise my vintage T highly enough. Good price IMHO, what are youse all waiting for!!
20. Have a 'these are seriously brilliant basses' type bump. Light, slim neck, really comfortable to play, I've already got one, but this is, in my opinion a great price for a great, handmade bass. Good luck with your sale.
21.
Mike, Firstly nice review .I have asked a few times about straight sale so Ideally I'd be looking for the 1800 euro.Unfortunately the Euro Versus Sterling is killing the U.K price as it work out to be £1575 or thereabouts ...Just not a good time to sell basses from outside the U.K., All the best, Mick.
I've a 4 string version of this and it's a fantastic bass, I don't understand why they're not more popular. New this would be over £2200, so for a top condition, ungigged example, for what its worth, I think your price is fair.
22.
Yes, looking for something along the lines of a Fender Jaguar or Fender Mustang bass, with a bit of cash my way. Also happy to sell.
What's the cash price?
