1. I'd love a shot of them Berg HD112's...
 2. Actually... I've just checked my junk mail folder, and there's the Princess Diana email, sent to 'basschat@....'. Like Dark Lord, I use specific email addresses for each service I sign up for, and I don't use 'basschat@...' anywhere else. Hmm...
 3. Where did it come from?
 4. I appreciate that it's expensive for Rush to bring the full production to Europe, but frankly I'd rather they left most of it in Canada. What do you watch? The lights? The big tellies? The gizmos? There's a band in there somewhere... the rest is just fluff.
 5.
I'd love to hear "Here again". But I'm not holding my [s]fire[/s] breath...
'Before and After' for me. What a great song and performance that is....
 6.
I just hope they do lots of stuff from Permanent Waves - Moving Pictures - Signals. That was MY Rush.
Time will tell...
 7.
Ditto. I agree that Clockwork Angels is crap, and they're probably going to do ALL of it. But they're also going to do the whole of **** and lots of other old stuff. And this may be the last time they tour like this. Neil Peart's apparently finding it hard to do 3-hour sets these days.
Careful with setlist spoilers, eh? I don't think they're doing the whole thing - just a part of it. As for lots of old stuff - it depends on your definition. I'd call it mid-period stuff. Which is fine by me, 'cos I love it. Still not going, though.
 8.
How do I find out if point 2 is happening?
Check point 1. If they definitely aren't in your junk mail, it's a fair bet you're point 2.
 9. I'm a rabid Rush fan, but... no. And here's why:

Too expensive. it's getting silly now.
Last few times I've been, I've watched the big screen more than the band. I'd happily trade the screen and a few lights for cheaper tickets and more focus on the band.
String section? Nah.
The sound at the last couple of gigs has been wretched. Crap mix, and FAR TOO LOUD. I'm sick of that fat slab of mush Alex has used for a guitar tone over the last few years.
On the subject of Alex, STOP MIMING TO THE BVs! You look silly.
Clockwork Angels wasn't a return to form. It was generic prog-metal-by-numbers. Flashes of greatness buried under a blanket of mediocrity. Geddy can't write a melody to save his life these days.
Apart from that, I love them dearly and I'll buy the DVD.
 10.
I've never had an email from BassChat. And i don't mind tbh.
I'm drowning in notifications - millions of the buggers. I keep pestering them to fix it...
 11. Could be one of two things. 1) Your notifications are being re-routed to your junk mail folder. Have a look in there. 2) A problem with some accounts was spotted recently where the notifications just aren't being generated. You might be one of these.
 12. It's a lovely tune. On the subject on the Falklands, here's a fave of mine. Featuring a North-East legend called Frankie Gibbon on bass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkD5pKU7WsE
 13.
If I sell something over 50 pounds I need to pay 7 pounds for starting a new topic, so I've enter 1 pound topic. Anyway, I will consider a donation if the bass sell. Thank you!
But... that's how much it costs. What you're doing is trying to circumvent payment. Also, I'm not convinced that it's not a refin. The colour is wrong, and I've never seen a blacked-out neck pocket before. Apologies if I'm wrong.
 14. Is it definitely not a refin?
 15. But... which one is he?
 16. How much??? Jaysus - they're not even Custom Shop. It even has the American Deluxe sticker on the pickguard..!
 17. I seem to recall these weren't 'proper' Fender signature editions. They were put together by a third party (SIMMS, possibly?) I
 18.
Lots of great bassist being listed here (Mingus definitely gets my vote). Here's a curveball that the vast majority of you will hate with a passion… Tom Jenkinson (aka Squarepusher) and 'The Modern Bass Guitar'. It blows my head that this track is played using a bass, albeit with a shedload of MIDI mojo going on. It's lightyears away from what most people consider to be 'musicianship', but for me, this guy is a modern-day gunslinger for sure.
Isn't this the noise Manic Miner makes whilst loading?
 19.
I've said it before , but I'll say it again , this is a U.S.A Fender that will be highly collectable in future years - they were great sounding and very well - designed basses and relatively few were ever made or sold . In ten ot twenty years these will be selling for big money , and whoever owns it will have a fantastic and versatile bass to play in the meantime .
Cheers, Dingus. I'm of the same opinion. There's hardware on here you won't find on any other bass.
 20. Bump! Again, I've had a bit of trade interest but generally only interested in a straight sale.
 21. Yaaaaaaawn.
 22.
For penance you have to listen to this all the way through.
I didn't realise the SECC had a retractable roof.
 23. If you go for flats, as Conan mentioned earlier the Laklands are beautiful things. And VERY cheap at 20 quid.
 24. The greatest Charva (as we call them) there ever was. It's funny 'cos it's true. BEWARE - VERY VERY SWEARY! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xwsrxr_buzzcock-s-lessons-in-life-3_fun#.UT-q6cGCgT8
