  1. Me too ☹️
  2. I know where it's gone because he sent me the labels with the address on it. As I've said I have documents stating all addresses, contact details and proof of collection, along with pages of email correspondance through ebay. I also have the tracking details which work, so hat's off to him if he's built a spoof TNT site. Anything over and above that such as damage etc could happen regardless of whether I arranged the courier or he did.
  3. I have a document that was signed by both me and the courier driver when the the parcel was collected, along with the tracking details. Both were sent through along with the parcel labels.
  4. I have just had exactly the same situation. A chap from Germany was absolutely in love with a guitar I had for sale on eBay. I’d listed in the auction as collection only but he got in touch to say he’d buy if I changed my mind about shipping. So I suggested a compromise. I would be willing to securely package it up, if he was willing to arrange his own courier and insurance. So that’s what we’ve done. We discussed the best day for collection, I sent him the dimensions and weight of the parcel and he sent me the labels from the courier. All good.
  5. I’m on TB and have found people to be very helpful. There’s a wealth of knowledge to be found just as there is on BC. One forum may cover some subjects more than the other so it’s great to have two great resources. I’ve read some threads on there that have turned pretty nasty, but there are some people out there who just live for that. To my mind BC is nowhere near as bad but there are people even here who just seem to post negative comments at every opportunity. People have differing views but how some choose to put those views across is questionable.
  6. Nice work 👍
  7. Agreed. Someone has told him they're rare and so now thinks it's worth a fortune. Rare doesn't necessarily equal sought after or valuable.
  8. Commendable work sir!
  9. The only odd thing on that drawing is the 3-way switch. Every one I've ever had or seen has a 2-way on/on switch.
  10. Here you go:
  11. I used these: https://glowtec.co.uk/fret-finders/ Just a pity they don't do full sheets of the small dots.
  12. Saw this bass yesterday on the Aria thread on TB. Certainly works as a method of getting your ad noticed!
  13. Nice one. You'll have to keep us posted on progress. 👍
  14. Welcome Adam
  15. Er, not for £25 no. Please pm me if you’re interested in purchasing.
  16. I believe they’re basswood but I’m not 100% on that. I’ve just searched and found the below (obvs this is for a sonic blue but I’m pretty sure OW would be the same): Type Electric Bass Model Name Classic Vibe Precision Bass ’60s Series Classic Vibe Series Colors Sonic Blue Body Basswood Neck Maple, Modern “C” Shape Fingerboard Rosewood, 9.5” Radius (241 mm) Number of Frets 20 Vintage Style Frets Pickups 1 Custom Precision Bass Split Single-Coil Pickup with AlNiCo 5 Magnets Controls Volume, Tone Pickup Switching None Bridge 4Saddle HiMass Bridge Machine Heads Open Gear Tuning Machines
  17. You can never have too many 😁
  18. Replacement loom for an Aria Pro II SB-R60 but would obviously be suitable for other single pickup Aria basses using the MB-II pickup (SB-600/700 etc) and no doubt many other pickups/basses too. Kiogon solderless wiring loom Bourns Volume and Tone pots 3-way chrome toggle for dual tone selection - bright/off/deep Switchcraft jack socket Wiring instructions included Just to note, these pot shafts take the original push-on SB black knobs but they aren't quite as tight fitting as the originals so you may require a bit of something just to secure them. Price includes postage to mainland UK (UK buyers only please)
  19. I’ve had several MIJ Precisions from various years and they have all been very well made instruments. It’s the consistency in quality that impresses me. I’ve had US models and some have been great but some have been pretty mediocre. The MIJ (or CIJ) models have all been great. So much so that I have another MIJ Steve Harris Blue Sparkle signature incoming. 😛
  20. A bit of a 70/30 split for me between basses and cabs/amps (effects have never grabbed me tbh). I do find my gas is subsiding now though. After trying lots and realising what fits and what doesn’t, I’m a little more settled. Honest 😇
  21. It’s after Friday and it’s still here type BUMP 😁 EDIT 30/07 Now £325 delivered to mainland UK as I've just picked up another bass which came with a rather battered Gator hard case which is perfectly useable for shipping this (2 corners broken, dents, scuffs etc).
  22. If you could edit your first post adding 'SOLD' in the title, the Moderators will be along to lock the thread. 👍
