  1. Not that I'm aware of unfortunately.
  2. Bargain! I'll start the stop watch.............
  3. Thanks, but I already have a couple covering the SM and SMX range. It's one that covers the original Series 6 models (as shown in the below pic) that I'm after.
  4. Traded basses with Trev today. A great guy with some beautiful basses. Superb communication throughout and the bass is exactly as he'd described so couldn't ask for more. Trade with absolute confidence. Many thanks again, until the next time! 👍
  5. As stated earlier in the thread, the HH in position 1 does what the H does.
  6. Wow! Congratulations to you. 👍
  7. Very nice. The head's the same as yours at least. Mine's just mounted in a 3U case with a separate TE black light beneath it to replicate the 350 etc. Although by the weekend I'll have hopefully added to my TE family. 😉
  8. Alas, I'm one of those souls who no longer partakes in FB
  9. Oh I do wish I could get on with Jazz basses. These look lovely.
  10. Will do.
  11. The spec listed on the older BF page says 25Hz - 6kHz. However the newer BF page lists it as 30Hz - 6kHz. With regard to impedence, the only option on the page when you order is 8ohm. I'm not sure if 2ohms is still an option on request (the back plate still shows 2 and 8 with the 2 blacked out).
  12. This arrived this morning. 😁 I'm a self-confessed fan of BF gear after having several of their 2x12 models over recent years, but wanted to have something a little more old skool sounding this time around. Went for the painted finish as used on the 12" speaker models. The finish is superb and it sounds great (I certainly managed to get a few things rattling around the house earlier). Very pleased and look forward to gigging with it when the time comes.
  13. Yes position 2 sounds superb. Hopefully they won't be a pair for too much longer. It needs a new home!
  14. Had some very interesting part-trade offers but nothing that fits the bill as yet. Keep ‘em coming. On hold pending sale elsewhere
  15. Yeah it’ll never catch on, that Fender tuner shape 🤣
  16. Just to resurrect an old thread, I'm still on the hunt for a Series 6 era brochure/catalogue if anybody has one they'd like to part with (hard copy) or pdf's of one you could forward on? Cheers
  17. I am completely at a loss for words. How? Why? Can people be arrested for this sort of thing? 😧
  18. This is key. Take plenty of good photographs and be completely honest about condition. The dent or damage that you've lived with for years will turn into a major dispute with the buyer if you fail to mention or photograph it in your advert.
  19. I've lost money on things but I wouldn't class those instances as mistakes as I've gone into buying them (usually new) with my eyes open knowing what will happen as a result of my gas. 99% of my purchases are used items off BC. That's the joy of buying used, you can try lots of different kit and not lose on it. However just to add to the Wal hall of shame, I bought a used Mk1 for £575 from Carlsboro in Nottingham in 1993 and sold it for I think £650ish a year later. At the time I was quite chuffed with the deal. The next used Wal I bought cost me £3000 🙄
  20. What a very odd day! 🙄 After this being on hold, then sold, it is still available.
  21. It's a bargain for a great bit of kit (I briefly had an AH600 SMX a few years ago) but the 600 models have bells and whistles on them that I'd never use, such as the bi-amping facility.
  22. Mark purchased a couple of basses off me today but within a couple of hours realised that they weren't for him. He was very honest with me and I accepted the basses back along with his sizeable gesture of goodwill for my inconvenience. I wasn't really sure about selling one of the basses anyway so all's well that end's well! Mark's a lovely chap and it's a shame that the deal fell through, but I'm sure we'll trade again.
