Bought a PJ Briefcase amp from Xavier, didn't work out in the end but he is a fine gentleman to deal with. Excellent comms, friendly & quick to reply. I would have no hesitation in dealing with him again. Thanks for all your efforts.. tom.
3. Another amazing loom from young John, fast and perfect quality, My Lyte is now passive & thunderous, thanks again mate for an excellent job as always have a great day! tom.
4.
Hi Tom, 4.5kg with great balance too so dont feel heavy tbh but I know you love extreme light weights
Cheers for that, yup too heavy for me but it looks amazing, should go very soon. GLWTS.

6. Note to self: read the effin' date before you get excited As Karl says, PM first.
7. I use one of these combos in our church band, it's awesome! never seems to run out of volume. Buy it, you won't be sorry, I love mine. It never gets moved so the weight isn't a problem for me.
8. Thanks for that, much as I like it it's just too heavy for me but good luck with the sale. You have some stunning basses.
9. You are a bad man Marinus looks lovely. Ok what does it weigh? so there is a rout for a P pickup there still? what was the drilled hole for? Finally the width of the neck at the nut & 12th fret please. Thanks & regards.
10. Need one for my hifi separates system, how wide is it? ta.
11. I used to sell John's guitars in my shop and these basses are excellent for the money. GLWTS
12. Eat? what is this 'eat'? If it had a maple board I'd probably have about 6 by now, lovely bass, GLWTS.
13. No wonder our southern friends are such good players, you have all the teachers. Up north we have to teach ourselves.....
14. It always amuses me that a seller with a £4000 bass puts up a couple of scratty little pics that show no detail at all. People won't spend that kind of money without detailed pictures. GLWTS
15. What he said ^^^ Same again, superb bass and I wouldn't sell it for the world.
16. I bought a P with my name on it (Legend) off ebay for 40 quid delivered. Plywood body and generic everything but the neck is fabulous and has the worn in feel to it, and it's maple! So I was bored and sanded the 3 colour sunburst down and sprayed it post office red, firred a gotoh bridge, fender tuners and a usa pickup. The result is a superb, easy to play bass with some real grunt.. weighs 7.8 lbs... but you've heard all this before haven't you? So I won't bore you with it.......
