1. I've just bought Neil's P bass and have to say it's a beauty. Very pleasant guy to deal with, very promptly shipped and I'm very happy. Top man! Deal with confidnece. (From another WHO nut)

evening bump.
3. I too have some nice basses, luckily for me I mostly play in churches up high near the organ pipes so we're pretty much out of harms way. The down side is that after the service small children tend to race around everywhere so it can be a tad fraught. I put our gear straight into the car after we finish so not a problem really. I am from the school of thought that says your basses are for using, that said I do have one or two collectable instruments that stay at home.

Thanks James but it's not me, If I'm a bit more specific I'd go for a USA Jazz and add some cash but it'd need a maple board and preferably one colour.

SOLD.

Hi all, I bought this recently from Shockwave, just couldn't resist the colour and the gorgeous Maple neck. However when I was in York last week I saw my blue 50s reissue Squier with a maple neck that I like a lot better even though it's thicker. So, can't keep them all. This is really well setup with a low action and the usual grunt you would expect from a Precision. It's this one: http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0131702340# It's in the same condition as when I got it a couple of weeks ago (mint) because I haven't touched it apart from fitting a pickup cover which I find necessary. I have removed it as I need it but they can be had for about a tenner or I'll put this one back on for said tenner. It will have a gigbag this time (I didn't get one) and straplocks too!! I'd like £360 delivered. Sorry but no overseas buyers thanks. I've been burned twice on exchange rates so I'm not doing it again. Thank you for looking.

Another 'highly recommended' from me too. Just bought a P bass bridge cover and he sent it while I was buggering about on Paypal making a mess of his email address All sorted in the end though. Thanks Tim, you're a star. Tom.
10. Very good price Tim, I nearly bought it myself but as I have 19 basses and succumbed to another 'bargain' on here a couple of days ago I thought I'd better not

Hiya Craig, not in need of any more basses at the moment, wouldn't mind the Pod as a P/X though. Text could be bigger too, can hardly read that
13. Ah right cheers Doc.
14. Not having had much experience modding basses, (I have modded guitar tuners in the past) why is a bass so much harder? Isn't it just a case of enlarging the holes to take the bigger bushings? Why does it need a router? Are they internally stepped or something?
15. While I appreciate the animation of your avi Mr OSD could you not find another subject to use it on? That animal murdered quite a few of my family and I really hate seeing his face when I look at a thread and being reminded of it. Sorry, I don't mean to be nasty or anything.

Seen something I like so reduced to £350 delivered including a hardcase!!
17. Should I have 2? love the colour, if my cort gb94 sells I may be back........ can't get enough of Fenders at the moment, I love them.
18. Do you like soundslive Musicman20? Was thinking of having a run up from near Teesside to try out the Steve Harris. Is the shop worth the trip?
19. I have the blue squier 51 reissue?? anyway it looks like st*ngs. Gigged it last night and it was great! Might as well sell all the good stuff. As a former small music shop owner I couldn't compete with the net so I didn't try or price match. The margins are very small as it is. It didn't make a lot of difference because people still bought from me most of the time. It's annoying when some guy comes in and tries out a guitar he fancies and then goes and gets it off the net. The problem with that is you are buying from a box shifter and it usually won't be setup. That's when they come in with their new guitar for a setup and the whole thing ends up costing a lot more than if they had bought it off me in the first place. I quite enjoyed taking the wind out of their sails when they come in and say "I can get that £35 cheaper at GAK, you are expensive" My reply was always wow! bargain! I'd buy that. Trouble is they want net prices and personal service, aint gonna happen.
20. I was brought up to say please and thank you. As everyone says, it costs nothing. My reputation on here is very important to me and I've made some great friends. Feedback is important imo, it does make me feel better. I still, despite being caught out once or twice believe in human nature.
21. Only my first one. I called it 'f*ck'n thing, it had a loose connection on the jack socket and it just stopped then started again. A bit like that comedian from t' wheel tappers program.
22. Just bought a wiz pickup from Mr Clark, great deal, excellent comms, pickup arrived safely and is fitted and working perfectly. Thanks very much again. Deal with confidence! Tom.
