I play mostly in churches and use a variety of mostly Fender basses. Trouble is churches have a lot of quiet moments and my Trace combo can be a bit noisy (quite normal) I can't easily reach the on/off switch to shut it up so it's getting to be a problem now. I know I could have a kill switch fitted to a bass but because I use about 7 different ones and my luthier is about 40 miles away it's not very practical. Is there some kind of pedal that would do this for me? I also realise that I could just turn the volume (s) down on the bass but it takes time to put them back where they were and that would be a guess. Might seem like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill but hey, we all have our idiosyncrasies. Any help greatly appreciated.

That's well put, exactly what I mean

Not sure if I'm in the right room for this but: Is it just me but when I look at adverts for basses I like to view the instrument pics from the 'wearing it' aspect, ie' with the neck on the right, body on the left. I have a bad neck so craning sideways to see what it looks like when worn is a nuisance. Most ads seem to have them the other way up or vertical. (Yes it's different for left handers I feel silly now

Just found this so it's up for sale. Made for Vintage somewhere in the far east it's a very nice quality instrument. Can't get them now as far as I know but they were around £350 new! No marks or damage that I can see but the action is a bit high at the bridge end. Easily rectified by filing the bridge down I think. That's about it, don't know any more about it. Comes in a good hard case and It's £150 delivered. Thank you for looking. **I will throw in a couple of sets of spare strings too** REDUCED TO £130 DELIVERED

Ah that's great Parker, well done and thanks for the recommend. Fiorenza2 it weighs 4 kilos. I have a new Cort T74 like this one: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http...ved=0CBcQ9QEwBA Stunning and lightweight, very loud bass, very easy to play. I'd want £360 for this and it really is worth every cent. Also have a 1997 Fender P deluxe in shoreline gold with maple board. Mint condition. £850. One or two other cheaper like a Squier WN like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fender-Squier-Standa...=item4ceffefdcb Bought and never played so still new. sell for about £175. A fabulous Ricky copy by Tokai in fireglo. Has all rick parts on it, bridge, pickups controls etc', like about £475 for it. Also my Trans orange Jazz but who could afford it? Better stop now.

I really don't want to sell this but my better half would love a guestroom and thinks 14 basses is too many so I'm selling 3 or 4 of them starting with: Fender 2008 MIM P bass, white with maple neck & board. Stunning condition as are all of my basses. It benefits from a set of Schaller, Fender stamped tuners for stable tuning. The pickup had been changed for a Thumper using connectors rather than soldering, I've changed it back to standard the same way. It has that amazing deep thump that only a precision can give... You know the rest, action is low and fast and I'll throw in a Fender gigbag too. Can't take part ex for the above reason Because of its condition I'd like £340 posted please. Thank you for looking. Tom.
