1. Read the review of the expat version of this bass in this link from a recent Bass Player magazine and buy the USA model for £300 less! http://www.bassplayer.com/gear/1164/elrick-expat-e-volution-4---5--string-review/56031
2. Just sold a flight case to Pete. Absolutely hassle-free transaction with immediate payment and great comms. A credit to Basschat - deal with him with absolute confidence. Thanks Pete
3. Hi Gary It's in absolutely mint condition. Only been used at home for solo work. Kind regards Pete
4. Yes, I can endorse what others have said about these basses. The necks are wonderfully playable and the range of tones is all that you would ever need. It's a shame they called it a 'Basic' as it's anything but that and they are very underrated instruments. I paid nearly £1,000 for mine new but, sadly, pre-owned prices just don't reflect that. Good luck with the sale!
5. I have a flight case from Thomann that's made specially for the Yamaha MG12/12XU Mixing Desk. It's surplus to requirements as the band has upgraded to the 16 Channel desk and that doesn't fit in the case. It's in perfect condition. The following link should take you to a full description with pics. http://www.thomann.d...ha_mg_12_xu.htm I'm asking £45 plus postage.

8. This used to be my bass that I bought new from Overwater and traded on this website. I often wish I'd kept it as it was such a beautiful instrument both playability-wise and for tone. I'm glad to see it's been well looked after as the fit and finish on it are amazing. I wish I had the money to buy it back so good luck with the sale.
9. Just sold my '83 Jazz to Andy in a completely hassle-free deal. He's a top guy. Straight up with the cash, great comms and came to collect within 48 hours. Had a really interesting chat with him, too. You can deal with this BC member with total confidence. Thanks Andy.
10. This combination makes for a super rig and it's easily portable. The ceramic drivers give that old school vibe in buckets. At this money it's an absolute steal! GLWTS.
11.
i want this bass PM'd
Replied to.
12. Bought Nick's Mike Lull V4 and met up with him yesterday to do the hand over. What a great guy and very knowledgeable about all things bass! The deal was absolutely trouble-free with great communications and the bass was exactly as described. People like Nick are what makes Basschat such a great site to be a member of. Thanks again Nick!
13. I had but something came up on the rails so I'm giving it one last go! If it doesn't appeal to anyone I'm more than happy to keep it.
14. I've just fitted a new set of D'Addario Chromes and she sounds lovely. Price reduced to £1,000 but that's definitely as low as I can go. If no one wants it at this price it's going back under the bed for a few more years Treat yourself to a brilliant Xmas present!
15. Yes, I'm surprised, too. Can't really go much lower on price than I already have as I'd rather keep it as an investment than let it go for silly money. I was just trying to 'thin the herd' a bit and didn't know where to start.
16.
Why are all the nicest J basses on here so far from me
PM'd
17. I prefer to stack my Aguilar GS112s as in picture 1. If space is limited I stack them vertically on the side as in picture 2 but it somehow never quite sounds the same.
18. Sold my Berg NV412 to Grahame and it was a completely hassle-free transaction. He paid up straightaway, organised a courier and communicated promptly and readily. He is a real credit to Basschat and you can deal with him with the utmost confidence. Thanks Grahame
19. I use an identical pair and I can confirm it is a superb combination. GLWTS
20. No probs, Owen. Glad I hadn't upset a fellow Basschatter!
21.
Oh bugger, I may have to buy this back.......
I've been looking after it for you, Tom. It's as good as the day I bought it from you. It's just that Old Father Time is hard on my heels!
