That's a great rig. I used to have this same set up and it was brilliant - I used to get lots of compliments on the sound of it. If you must sell it be sure it's what you have to do as you'll probably never replace it. But good luck with the sale if that's what you want. Someone will get a great rig for a bargain price.

Just sold my Elrick Evo Gold to Gary. Great guy who traveled all the way up from Middlesex to try it out and collect it and made an instant payment on the spot. Great comms and totally reliable with the arrangements. You can deal with this guy with absolute confidence. Thanks Gary

I have just replaced the BBOT bridge on my Custom Shop '64 Jazz as I was having trouble with losing the sound of my G and D strings in the mix. I replaced it with a Hipshot A style bridge and I have to say it has made a real difference both to the sustain (much, much improved) and the articulation, definition and presence of the notes in the higher register are far, far better. It is a very easy modification to carry out (let's face it, I managed to do it!) and worth every penny. It was very much a leap of faith but I would recommend it to anyone.

Just sold a flight case to Pete. Absolutely hassle-free transaction with immediate payment and great comms. A credit to Basschat - deal with him with absolute confidence. Thanks Pete

Yes, I can endorse what others have said about these basses. The necks are wonderfully playable and the range of tones is all that you would ever need. It's a shame they called it a 'Basic' as it's anything but that and they are very underrated instruments. I paid nearly £1,000 for mine new but, sadly, pre-owned prices just don't reflect that. Good luck with the sale!

I have a flight case from Thomann that's made specially for the Yamaha MG12/12XU Mixing Desk. It's surplus to requirements as the band has upgraded to the 16 Channel desk and that doesn't fit in the case. It's in perfect condition. The following link should take you to a full description with pics. http://www.thomann.d...ha_mg_12_xu.htm I'm asking £45 plus postage.

This used to be my bass that I bought new from Overwater and traded on this website. I often wish I'd kept it as it was such a beautiful instrument both playability-wise and for tone. I'm glad to see it's been well looked after as the fit and finish on it are amazing. I wish I had the money to buy it back so good luck with the sale.

Bought Nick's Mike Lull V4 and met up with him yesterday to do the hand over. What a great guy and very knowledgeable about all things bass! The deal was absolutely trouble-free with great communications and the bass was exactly as described. People like Nick are what makes Basschat such a great site to be a member of. Thanks again Nick!

I prefer to stack my Aguilar GS112s as in picture 1. If space is limited I stack them vertically on the side as in picture 2 but it somehow never quite sounds the same.
