1. Sold a pedal board to Andrew. He arranged collection with ready cash. Great comms and completely hassle-free. Highly recommended.
 2. Thanks, LukeFRC. It really is a top class instrument and so easy to play with its low action and deep lower horn cut away. The Bartolini pickups and EQ are very versatile with an output trim pot inside the control cavity to increase the active boost. I have it set low as I only need a very subtle effect from the 3 band EQ. Altogether a very 'musical' bass guitar. I'm selling it as I am looking to finance a Fodera but, whenever I pick it up and play it, I wonder what extra Fodera might give me?
 3.
Great sounding amp!!
Agreed - 100%
 4. £100 off the asking price. Now only £1500. Great bass at a great price!
 5. Hi Tom1946 On my bathroom scales it comes in smack on 8lbs.
 6. Can't understand why this is still here. You'd be hard pushed to find a better active jazz bass at this price. Have a bump on me.
 7. Price drop now [s]£1500[/s] £1,400 Need to move on a couple of basses so some will have to go. First up is my Elrick E-volution Gold 4 string. There is plenty of information about these basses on the Elrick and the Bass Direct websites but the main gist is as follows. 1. Gold series, e-volution bolt on 2. •Lightweight swamp ash body - hand rubbed oil finish 3. •Flamed/Burl Redwood top 4. •Maple neck 5. •2-way adjustable truss rod 6. •Width at nut: 40mm 7. •Wenge fingerboard, radius: 16" 8. •24 frets + zero fret 9. •Medium Fretwire 10. •34" scale 11. •19mm string spacing at bridge 12. •Bartolini J coils 13. •Bartolini NTMBF 3 band eq, 9v 14. •Switching for active/passive and three way mid frequency switch: 250/500/800Hz 15. •Black Hipshot Ultralight tuners and Elrick bridge 16. •Dunlop Straploks 17. •Elixir strings 18. •Elrick lightweight case 19. •Weight: 7lbs (by my bathroom scales!) This is a beautiful bass and plays like a dream with its really low action. It is in excellent condition as I have never gigged it. I use it for playing melodies and chordal stuff at home and for that it is absolutely brilliant. It comes with the Elrick lightweight case and Dunlop straplocks. It's a very light bass - even if I don't trust my bathroom scales! I prefer collection from Leeds or meet up within reasonable distance for fuel costs.
 8. Sold my Berg CN212 to Frank. He's a real gentleman and a top guy to deal with. Everything went according to plan with great comms and a prompt meet up and payment. Deal with him with total confidence - a credit to Basschat. Thanks, Frank.
 9. Thanks flippyfloop, It's sold already!
 10. For sale is my brand new Berg CN212 with the Berg padded cover. I bought it brand new only in March this year and it's done perhaps 4 or 5 gigs at most. As such it is in absolute mint condition. I'm selling because I want to go back to old school ceramic drivers and need to move this to make that happen. This would set you back over £1,000 to buy new so I think £750 is a reasonable asking price. These cabs always get rave reviews including the one recently in Bass Guitar Magazine. The official specs are as follows.

2-12˝ Neo woofers
High intelligibility tweeter
Power handling: 700 watts
Custom phase-coherent crossover w/ tweeter control
Precision tuned
Frequency response: 40hz-15khz
Sensitivity: 104db @ 2.83v /1meter
Impedance: 4 ohms
Dimensions: 31˝ h x 18 ½˝ w x 15˝ d
Weight: 46 lbs
Looking for a sale only with collection from Leeds or meet up at a reasonable distance.
 11. The satin finish looks great. I had mine done that way over a tobacco sunburst - very tasty! Overwater know how to make superb basses.
 12.
Just give in... fighting GAS is futile...
Agree 100%
 13. I bought the PF350 as a back up amp and, because I liked the tone of it, I just recently bought the PF800 to create a more compact rig than my usual set up. It's a great amp with loads of features and that's a great price. Good luck with the sale. I wish this had come up 4 weeks ago as I paid full price for mine!
 14. Hi Rich. I've sent you a PM
 15. Hi Rich. Hope you are well. How does the tone of these compare with the Aguilar GS112? I know you've had one before so would appreciate a view on it. Thanks, Pete
 16. I have the 4 string version and I have to say it is a real 'player's bass'. It has great action and a really subtle active eq - beautiful to play. GLWTS
 17. Just sold an amp to Isabelle. She is a great person to deal with - absolutely fair about all aspects. She paid promptly, even standing the paypal fees herself. Highly recommended.
