Congrats on your recent acquisition. I have been keeping an eye on these since they were released and would love to hear more if possible on how it plays and sounds. For me it sits in a particular group with visual layout similarities to the Gibson DC bass and the Cort Action Junior in terms of scale length and pick up position though obviously a big difference in price. How have you found the tone control and the push/pull in terms of altering the sound?

Reggaeland is happening today and tomorrow at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes. The headliners are Chronixx today and Capleton tomorrow. I have just used https://lenspeedlogistics.com/ to get a bass shipped a similar distance. Have a search on BC and you will find multiple good testimonials. They charged me £55 + VAT. The bass was sent in a gig bag and then had bubble wrap over the top and arrived in perfect condition. The notes say that George Clinton was involved in writing the lyrics and arranging it while Wikipedia says "Coby Recht said recording the film's reggae number 'How To Be a Master' was complicated due to actual Jamaican musicians performing on the song and not being able to 'read the charts' that were in English." Bass line is legit.

I go to gigs on my own and generally end up speaking to people there who have the same interest, love and passion for what is going on. If your local venues have regular gigs then you get to chat to them and sort of end up with gig friends. However I wouldn't trust any of them to hold my pint while I go for a slash.
